Nettes Hotel etwas außerhalb

Nicht weit vom Zentrum, ca 20 Gehminuten. Zimmer und Bad geräumig, gute Ausstattung.

Der Heizkörper im Bad läuft durchgehend auf höchster Stufe und lässt sich nicht ausschalten. Dies ist einerseits nicht sehr angenehm da sich das ganze Zimmer dadurch aufheizt und andererseits nicht sehr nachhaltig. Bei der Reinigung wurde einiges nicht nachgeteilt, wie z.B. Milch im Kaffee Eck, Waschhandschuhe und Kosmetik - Tücher. Wenn man Lärm empfindlich ist, sollte man darauf achten kein Zimmer in der Nähe des Aufzugs zu haben, der Signalton bei jeder Fahrt ist sehr laut.

Perfect location, rooms comfortable. Air con is a little slow at coming on and the rooms are very warm but it was still a lovely stay. Friendly staff, helpful at all times.

On the spa floor, outside the lift was very dirty. Lose broken tiles pushed into a corner, a can of lilt, other rubbish that had been left which looked very untidy. The rooms being a little warm but it wouldnt stop me from staying again.

Outstanding!

What an outstanding hotel. The staff were amazing, so friendly and welcoming. The room was fabulous. Very roomy with everything we needed. Comfy bed, blackout curtains, tea & coffee, free toiletries but to mention a few. The breakfast was all outstanding. My only disappointment was we couldn’t stay longer! But we will definitely be going back again, and take full advantage of the spa next time too. Location was also superb, literally minutes from the Royal Mile.

Single female travelling alone felt relaxed comfortable and safe as being at home

I have had a lovely stay no complaints except 1 the room advertised on booking.com for a junior suite was not the room allocated to me. I was disappointed that there was no separate seating area however this was the only complaint food was amazing staff were friendly and helpful facilities were amazing swimming pool was great would definitely recommend

A comfortable and relaxing stay with good facilities.

We got into our room early . Pool and sauna facilities were good . All the staff were nice and friendly . Room was spacious and fresh. Towels were nice and bed was comfortable.

Hot breakfast wasn’t that hot and the potatoe scone was brick hard . Coffee was terrible but it was the last cup in the help yourself container . There was work going on somewhere snd the noise woke us up early. The tv next door was also a bit loud but luckily it didn’t go on late . We asked for the conditioner bottle to be filled but still none on the second day ..

La mejor calidad/precio que puedes encontrar

Habitación amplia y limpia, con una cáma extra grande y cómoda. Ubicación justo al lado del parlamento escocés, a 5' andando del palacio Holyrood y a 10' andando del centro de la ciudad. Tienen el mejor desayuno que he probado nunca en un hotel, donde hay carta para elegir entre 7 opciones (puedes elegir todas las que quieras) y self-service con desayuno continental y escocés. No tienes que elegir entre una opción o la otra, sino que te entra todo y las ingredientes son frescos. El gimnasio también es muy completo y también tienen piscina. Todo incluido en el precio de la habitación. Además, también hay un Spa.

I am disappointed that I cannot recommend this hotel due to major refurbishment work being undertaken which although is not seen, can be heard with drilling, sawing and banging heard from 7am throughout the day in your room. Staff were friendly however sadly a buffet breakfast is now available as opposed to table service, providing greasy overcooked food, and a wait of around 10 minutes for an egg order. Lastly, I was looking forward to a relaxing swim however was met with a freezing cold pool that certainly did not feel like a spa experience.

Very lovey hotel with really friendly staff

The staff were lovely and the hotel was very nice. There was an issue with the speaker in the bathroom but apart from that the room was very nice. The breakfast was particularly delicious with so much choice!!

We were very disappointed that the pool was closed as we had booked especially for the pool and we weren’t told it would be closed. We would have appreciated a call or email to say it wa closed and/or a discount

Great hotel once the refurbishment is complete.

Loved the staff all round. Very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size.

Pool and spa were closed during our visit. That was the main reason for us booking at that time. We weren’t informed of these being closed until very close to our stay. Also didn’t like the noise of the work that was being done.

Helpful staff and ideal location.

The staff are great. We originally had a standard room which was one that hadn’t been updated yet but there was a smell of smoke and reception upgraded us to a superior room which had been renovated. They were very helpful and prompt. Couldn’t have asked for more. The location is also great, 10 min walk to the royal mile where lots of tourist things are and plenty of bars and restaurants

The older rooms are run down but if you get the newer rooms they’re perfect

We had a great stay in Edinburgh for christmas 2023

This property is within easy walking distance to the city centre, it is clean, the staff very helpful and the rooms had everything we needed.

There wasn’t a lot of atmosphere in the hotel bar for Christmas but that is not the staffs fault, we had stayed in 2017 at Christmas, there were games in the bar/lounge area which was fun but this maybe the after effects of Covid that they were not there this time.

pleasant and lovely honey moon stay

very friendly service, very comfortable bed, clean and nice room/bathroom. swimming pool and gym were great. location was perfect, not too far from city but far enough away from centre so it was quiet. the tesco right next to it was very useful.

old very very tiny tv(though it seems we just got unlucky in our room with that) and a lot of noise came through the room door which was a bit unpleasant in morning when we tried to sleep in.

Good all round service. Nice swiming pool. Large comfy room. Easy walking distance to City centre and attractions.

Only had one breakfast there that was ok but found the cooked food, sausages, bacon etc a touch dry.
