Location was excellent. Beds were very comfortable and breakfast menu was very comprehensive.
It was a little noisy when staff were wheeling trolleys past the window of the annexe where we stayed.

The grounds and village was lovely
Small room, no view, reception staff when we arrived not adequate for job,
No bar menu has to have restaurant menu
We didn’t get asked for what drinks we would like in restaurant and I could go on as it wasn’t that special

Being scammed through Booking.com by a bad actor wanting payment in advance to secure the booking. I gave out credit card details but realized quickly and cancelled credit card. Very inconvenient. Booking.com should be on top of this fraudelent activity. You do have a message on your booking confirmation but it should be much louder.
Combining two single beds into a double - very uncomfortable
