Good location friendly staff like always

Friendly and helpful staff always

Always book Clayton’s when visiting family however this occasion the room wasn’t to my liking it seems like it lacked the basic items ie pillows shower caps. The night I stayed the top room made a lot of noise almost like the furniture was being moved - rubbed against the floor around 23:00 which was late ! Usually stay on the highest floors didn’t like my stay on this occasion

Comfortable stay at the center of Leeds.

Room size is very good, very comfy beds. All clean. Underground car parking at a charge of GBP 12 per day.

Top hotel with great hospitality G

Great place to stay for visiting Leeds. The staff are very welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate our needs (we had one guest with additional needs in relation to access and food). We enjoyed the use of the hotel gym followed by a late breakfast, which was consistently good and plentiful regardless of our last minute arrival to the dining room. We stayed here once before and hope to do so again.

Great hotel, shame about some of the guests

Location, very comfortable, friendly staff!

Sadly it was ruined by other guests shouting and slamming doors from 3am-7am

Good location.

Clean hotel in a good location and easy parking. Staff were great..

The rooms didn’t have any air con and there was a lot of works going on around the area which I know couldn’t me helped but still noisy…

Good location for overnight stay!

Good size room… bed was really comfortable! Hotel bar open late!

You have to pay for parking at the hotel so, can be very costly if staying a few nights on top of room price! Shower in room could do with an upgrade! Self serve breakfast was cold…. otherwise a good selection of food…. Staff should ask guests if they’re finished with breakfast , removing breakfast plates without asking…

Great location, good value.

Great location, staff very pleasant and attentive, excellent breakfast, good bar with reduced drinks prices early friday between 4-8pm which is welcome. Parking at hotel and reasonable at £12 per night.

Bathroom needs refurbishment, looking tired; poor shower control, fighting for constant water temperature, smelt of drains at times. Bedroom, again ready for a refurbishment but was spacious and comfortable

All of the staff we encountered at the hotel were friendly, professional and welcoming.

Toiletries in bathroom were very basic - hair and body wash attached to the wall.

Excellent stay- would definitely book again!

I have stayed once before at the Clayton and stayed this time for my daughter’s graduation. The rooms are very clean, towels and bedding of good quality and the room well equipped. Staff were very helpful. Access to the motorways is very good.

Unfortunately there were roadworks outside my window and I was on a busy traffic junction. However, this didn’t affect my sleep too much and could not be helped. The hotel is not right in the centre of the city but I knew that. It’s a 15-20 minute walk into centre of Leeds. Again, I knew this when booking. The hotel location has great motorway access.

Great night's sleep in a comfortable room, awesome breakfast buffet, lush.

The guy on the front desk (sorry can't remember his name - Joshua? Daniel??) was really helpful - he even moved his car so that we could park in the car park.

location of hotel near train station great . room v comfortable

as say Tom v comfortable but a shower curtain in bathroom seemed abit disappointing considering sink had granite worktop !! a shower screen would be fair better . also towels not on rack in bathroom but top shelf in hanging wardrobe so not easy to find . more milk in room please as room was for 3 even though only 2 of us and still not enough milk . had to get more for from staff for early am tea .

Ideal room size for a couple, good breakfast food

A fridge inside bedroom would be nice, and is the only minus that will keep me from giving a perfect score. Also, the location might be easy on paper but it's quite complicated than it seems as Leeds train station is quite huge and has several exits which are not easily accessible from one another. Not the hotel's fault though as someone familiar with the city can walk to the hotel in as less as 5 minutes

Staff are very polite. Hotel is very clean and beds are very comfortable. The location is good, only a ten to fifteen minute walk to the centre.
