Perfect location for our requirement. Quaint old building with lots of history. We didn't use it, but there is a pub on the ground floor.
It was hard work carrying our suitcases up the small staircase! But I suppose this is to be expected in these old hotels. There was some construction/maintenance work in the premises, just outside our window, which was unpleasant, especially since they were so close to our window.

Quiet at night. Bed comfortable.
Toilet seat very poor and lid would not stay up. No slip mat in bath. Bathroom cramped. Fan very noisy

It was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. There was plenty of storage in my room, as well as a safe and a hairdryer. The location was convenient and was just around the corner from the train station.

Parking was good. The beds were comfortable.
The stairs and handrails were poor. Both me and my sister have a condition which makes stairs difficult. The safe in our room was broken, front dial hanging off and the wardrobe door hinge was broken.
