Bon séjour, mais déçu par la chambre.

L’accueil, petit déjeuner, dîner, le personnel, L’emplacement de l’hôtel

Ns étions 3 couples, 2 avaient des superbes chambres avec salon, canapé, grand lit et literie impeccable avec couette , machine à café , bouilloire et nous une chambre plus que basique, Pas de couette pas de machine à café, pas de salon, des couvertures comme dans les années 1980, alors que ns avions payés le même prix. Nous sommes vraiment décus , ns avions la chambre 421.

I would recommend it for a week stay (hotel and location)

location - at the end of Santa Susana, close to the beach and train station cleanness - room after renovation comfy bed delicious food - each day different dishes (around 50 choices)

Indoor pool - additionally paid, too much chloride and bad ventilation, my eyes hurt, and after 30 minutes, I and my daughter started to cough Evening animation for kids (mni disco) was way too late for little ones. There was a coffee machine in our room, but no coffee or tea to use with it

Nice hotel but with unfriendly staff

Room was spacious and big, with a nice big terrace. With the terrace door closed, we almost couldn't hear the music from the pool, which was very good. Powerful and hot water stream from the shower.

It is apparently not allowed to bring to your room anyone who is not a paying guest of the hotel, not even for short amount of time. Reception staff would check who comes in and out against the names registered in the room, also not in a particularly friendly way. I have never seen this in any other hotel in my life. The food at the buffet had very limited vegetarian/vegan options. Plus it would have been helpful to have tags describing what each dish was, so that we didn't have to ask the staff each time if it contained meat or not.

Lovely stay.

Hotel was very clean , staff were amazing. Food in the restaurant was good. Hotel close to station, that was an added bonus, we will be back.

Some of the French staying were very rude….

We had a good stay.

Strong wi-fi, great free parking just near the hotel, friendly stuff, cleaningness, train stop just across the road, nice beach 7 min walk away.

95% of guests is very elderly. Hotel might need to market itself to other target groups, otherwise the vibe is strange. Dishes selection at dinner could be wider.

2 weeks with 7 adults, 4 rooms at Hotel Montemar Meritin

The food was good, each day different things on the menu and the hotel person were great. (except one person Carmen)

Carmen the Hotel receptionist, here attitude was unacceptable and not appropriate how she treaded us during our 2 weeks stay. She treats us as child! Also my family had the same problem during those weeks. She didn’t try to connect with us tot check if we were satisfied. even mentioning this to here colleagues. She was avoiding us as she knew that we weren’t happy about (here) service.

Amazing place!

The location, the staff!!! People here are so incredibly nice. Waiters knew our name bay the 2nd day and were always helpful and simply charming. Just a quick walk from many nice restaurants and beaches.

One of our beds had the strings already very on the verge of the mattress, and there were no extra pillows/blankets.

-the location -the rooms -the buffet were fine they should imporve a little the quality of the food and the desserts and PUT JAMON, there was no JAMON and for SPAIN this is not acceptable!

-the pool is small and crowded of kids -the check out IS TOO EARLY, THE HOTEL WAS NOT AT ALL CHEAP AND YOU CANNOT ASK CLINETS TO LEAVE AT 10 WHEN YOU THE BREAKFAST STARTING AT 9,30H, THIS IS NOT AT ALL FAIR -THE LIFEGUARD IN THE POOL IS NOT ABLE TO MAKE HIS JOB, MY MOTHER IS 74 AND HE GAVE HER A PLACE IN THE POOL IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH FOR HER CAUSE UP TO A SMALL MOUNTAING!! HE IS CRAZY OR WHAT??? SHE COULD HAVE FALL DOWN AND BEEN HURTED FOR THIS FAULTTHAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! SHAME ON YOU!!

Amazing stay & staff!

It was an amazing accommodation paired with excellent staff. Super helpful, good hygiene and every day they have a different animation. There are enough activities to keep children entertained for hours! A big big thank you to especially the men at the reception for going above and beyond for their guests!

Comfortable spotless hotel

Comfortable large bed. Lovely choice of food at breakfast and dinner. Rooms cleaned daily. Although pool was small, it never got crowded and we even had it to ourselves one day!

Loud music outside our room from the outdoor hotel singer until midnight!!!

Fabulous

very good restaurant, fresh food, lots of variety very friendly and helpful staff close to public transport. A straight train into Barcelona and Airport El Prat next to the beach

beds/pillows/blankets are not the best, bit old(er) for a 4 star hotel lots of noise in the hotel in the evening, not the best isolation wifi is the worst. In this day and age you should't be without service/reach.
