Amazing stay at the crown inn. Staff were super attentive, polite and helpful. We had dinner here too which we highly recommend. Perfect stay for Families with little one if visiting Alton Towers. Lovely breakfast too will definitely come back here.

We stayed her for a couple of nights to go to Alton towers and weren’t disappointed. Lovely family room, the best breakfast and stuff were lovely and friendly with nothing too much trouble. Staff made our girls a hot chocolate after a long day at the park which was really appreciated by them both.

We loved the location and outside area for dining and relaxing. Easy to park although farmers night we were unable to park onsite.
Farmers night food was superb.
Breakfast staff were so friendly and nice.
The bedrooms we booked were two different sizes.
Each room was dated, need a refurb and fresh bathrooms. The sound of the extractor fans kicking in early in the morning as this was right next to our bedroom window.
The food on the first night was very poor. Hair in the pie, fish and chips looked like they had been cooked for a week and the chicken risotto was more oil/butter than rice. We had the pie replaced and returned the fish and chips. No gesture of good will or bill reduction offered.
Not the best value for money for what was offered. Had much better stays elsewhere. Sadly the meal ruined it for us as this was a rare child free getaway with friends and we had to save for our trip.the price of the meal combined was a lot for 4 plates, 2 of which were inedible and one with a hair that had to be replaced. The farmers night absolutely made up for our first meal and wished this was on offer every night.
