Unique place despite there are renovations going around.
I would appreciate water in the room. And I thought I have also booked a breakfast but it seemed no no! We had ot outside.

The staff, especially the GM Spale! He is invaluable! He is a GM extraordinaire. Plus the Grand Canal view is unbeatable!

Our room (suite) was spacious.
On canal but no view unless you stood directly in front of a small (1 person) window & looked down.
