Great place and near my sons house with all the good things of a pub hotel

There was a drain problem and smell in the room I had been allocated, so the hotel called to say I would be moved to another hotel. I wasn't happy with this as I wanted to be in the village. Eventually the very kind hotel manager found me a room for the first night and moved me to their sister hotel/pub for the second - and did not charge me for either. This made up for the inconvenience and I will definitely go back.
The hotel itself is in a brilliant location and really nice.
Thank you.
