Beautiful castle. The owners took much care to renovate and keep the property in an excellent condition. Gardens were superb. Glasshouse dining sublime. Many activities available. Surrounding grounds also lovely. Small number of rooms meant a good deal of privacy.
As with most dated properties, the air was a bit musty but the staff kept everything very clean.

Glenapp Castle is a beautiful property with exceptional levels of service by the team. We loved almost every aspect of our experience - particularly the level of service from the team and wandering the grounds.
We were fortunate to be upgraded to the Countess Inchcape room, which is very grand. The only issue we had is that there is no air conditioning, presumably because it’s a heritage property. Consequently, the room was very hot. We chose not to open the windows as there were insects right outside. Instead we used the two small electric fans provided. Although these helped, we still had a very restless night. It’s a shame that such a beautiful property with such an amazing team falls short in this one very important area.

This is a beautiful property and the staff are amazing. Very attentive and genuinely cares about your happiness. Even met the Proprietor Paul and his wife Poppy. Lovely people who were so friendly. Don’t miss Jen at Azalea, truly awesome.

Absolutely loved my stay here. Lovely castle, staff were amazing and the food delicious. Very casual atmosphere even though it is a high end experience.
