Accessible to places like Hoan Kiem Lake and coffee shops. It was just a short walking distance. From the lake, you could just walk to 1428 specialty coffee and we were able to people watch on our first day and the coffee was perfect and a good value for money.
I’ve seen popular coffee shops like Cong Caphe and Note Coffee which were also a short walk from the hotel and the lake.
Near as well to St Joseph’s cathedral, and from there, I could just take a short walk to Bahn My Mama. The hotel is just right in front of Pizza 4P’s. Vietnamese food stalls are around the area so if I’m too tired and hungry it’s just easy to find one outside. There’s a vietnamese beef pho bo near the area that is even better than the Michelin one, in my opinion. The rooftop has a really great view of the city and was quiet so we enjoyed city viewing.ATMs and nail salons are also accessible. The staff and the reception offered help when needed and are very hospitable and welcoming ☺️ For the laundry, they have in-house laundry but I was able to get another service laundry outside the hotel and they just easily picked up my laundry from the hotel and returned it on the same day before my flight.
They provided bottled water everyday and cleaned the room. There are food menu options if you want to order from their restaurant. There is a fridge and safe inside. If you need water before departure, you could just get one in their fridge and pay before check out. Or if you want to get the extra bottles, you could just write on the slip and the room attendants will take note of it. My room was spacious, bed was comfortable. The toilet was clean and wide as well. There is a good water pressure for shower. There is an automatic bidet. The water temperature was easy to adjust as well.
Take note, on weekends, there is road closure around hoan kiem lake from Friday to Sundays. So it’s best to plan your itinerary well.
The property itself is okay and this is not their fault but other occupants can be noisy/talked loudly in the corridor and just bang their doors mindlessly, it would be helpful if they put reminders like to be mindful and quiet for other occupants.

A birthday was picked up discreetly by a member of staff just from checking in and a birthday cake left in the room. A lovely touch that was very thoughtful and much appreciated.

Nice, clean room, refreshed every day with clean towels and bottled water. Breakfast was great, apart from the first morning. The reception staff were amazing and greeted us with iced tea.
