The staff was beyond nice and friendly, we had a lovely time
Not biggy, but we thought there were multiple pools. There’s only 2 tho one was empty

It is in ideal location close to many local attractions. The pool with the thermal water is great.
The walls are not sound proof so you can be disrupted easily if you are a light sleeper. Bring earplugs.

This little hotel is a jewel box! It has about 10 rooms and four hot spring pools and is located on a working cattle ranch. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and very clean, and the included breakfast is ample and tasty. There are three menu items to choose from: a typical Costa Rican breakfast, a typical American breakfast or a Continental breakfast. All are served with fruit, coffee and orange juice. Each room has a beautiful outdoor sitting area with garden views. The view of the volcano Arenal from the property is amazing and the place is very peaceful and tranquil. We spent five nights and enjoyed sharing with other guests our visit and the attractions that we went to in the area. La Fortuna, the nearby town with many restaurants and bars, is about five minutes away so the location is very convenient without the hustle and bustle of being right in town. The employees are universally cheerful and friendly and we can’t recommend this little hotel more! The only recommendation that we would make is to extend the breakfast time from 6:30 to 8:30 to at least 9:30. Who wants to roll out of bed at 8am on vacation to make it to breakfast! We've already recommended Loma Real to our friends and a friend has already booked 5 nights!

Hot springs were nice and good location
Hotel claimed that I was a no show after I paid them on day 1 of our 3 day stay, so they wouldnt have to pay booking.coms fees, so booking.com took the hotels side. Make sure you keep your receipt of your stay oh and take pictures of you during your stay because apparently a bank statement charge isn't enough to prove that you stayed at this hotel. Also the safe never worked.
