The staff were very friendly and helpful. They kept the place very clean. We had a great view of the Volcano from our room when it was not too cloudy. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the resort.

Each and every staff member was lovely, particularly in the main restaurant, concierge team and hotel reception.
The hotel ensured that we had amazing à la carte vegan options for breakfast and created a bespoke menu for us.
The volcano views (when it decided to emerge!!) were fabulous.
Buggy’s were available at the drop of a hat to cart us around which was very much appreciated in the rain.
It was nice that the hot springs pools were for guests only rather than selling day passes like some other hotels.
Nice touches in room as expected from a five star hotel.
There wasn’t much of an atmosphere because there were very few guests. Sometimes felt as though there were more staff than guests!! I guess this meant they could be more attentive.
The hot springs pools were somewhat discoloured so felt this could be better maintained to match the rest of the hotel which was immaculate.

Stagg was very nice. That’s about it
Extremely touristy. For some reason they decided to have the main restaurant Italian - why ? The second kind of fast food restaurant is Asian - why ? Also no proper bar to sit around. Felt like we where in a kid holiday camp. Area is beautiful but not worth visiting I think
