Hotel is well kept and high standard of cleanliness
Feels quite classy - nice thick carpets throughout and decent bathroom facilities

For me, this is one of the most beautifully decorated hotels in Bournemouth. There is so much attention to detail, and I particularly love the horse racing theme, with rooms named after iconic racecourses such as Cheltenham and Ascot.
I have been staying at this hotel during my visits to Bournemouth for the past two years, and the warm, dedicated team is a big part of what keeps me coming back. It is always lovely to see familiar faces. Laura at reception remembers my mother and asks how she is, offers helpful recommendations for places to eat, and makes sure we are comfortable during our stay. These personal touches give the hotel a welcoming, family atmosphere.
I also really like the lounge, which is a lovely place to relax with a cup of tea or enjoy a chat.
There was nothing I didn’t like about my stay.

good parking. staff were polite ( but no one on site after 10 pm).
I thought it would be more like a hotel for the price paid. to be able to have a drink in the bar after 10pm or to sit in the lounge. instead had to remain in room as this was only option. little details like the toiletries were poor quality, not as alluded to in photos when booking, chocs on pillow were a nice touch but not replaced for second night. Fire alarm early on first morning ruined any chance of a lay in, obviously no fire. room was dated, i would say decorated about 10 years ago. cracked floor tile on bathroom and some mould on the ceiling. wardrobe had internal peeling paint and the safe didnt work.
