Good and convenient for a short stay.

Only a 10 minute walk to Canterbury West Gate. Kitchen well-equipped and bedrooms comfortable. Plenty of hot water and no need for heating (even in early April)

The standard beds were comfortable but there were two sofa beds and both the mattresses were terrible with springs pushing through and impossible to sleep on. The cleanliness was sufficient, but could have been better

ok for very short stay

think you need new microwave it was rusting in side which shouldn't be used in that state, my bed was ok, but the other two from my family comments was not good, no baking tray for oven use,dish cloths not very pleasent

WON'T GO AGAIN

Self catering. Bed comfortable. Near town centre.

WASHING MACHINE NOT WORKING, AFTER WAITING FOR REPLY FROM OWNER I FINALLY PHONED HIM EXPLAINED CLOTHES WET AFTER GETTING CAUGHT IN DOWNPOUR WAS TOLD TO FIND A LAUNDERETTE AND DO MY WASHING. I'M ON HOLIDAY....NO TOILITRIES...HAD TO GO OUT AND BUY SOME. INSIDE MICROWAVE DIRTY...PAN IN OVEN DIRTY....ALL PHOTOS TAKEN. SAID HE WOULD SEND ME A REFUND!!!!!!!! NO REPLY TO SECOND TEXT MESSAGE.

The House is only 10 min from the City Centre with a pretty footwalk through a park

Its exactly same as photos described with a pretty neat garden - bonus to see lots of little birds visiting the garden while having breakfast in the living room. Location is very close to town.

Missing a breakfast table, Mattress were too soft with low pillows.

Exceptional

Great place to stay in Canterbury. Clean and equipped with the necessary tools for the stay. We were increadibly happy with the welcoming nature of the host. We would visit again with pleasure.

won’t be staying again

close to the family we were visiting.

- Radiator in the bathroom got so hot my son burnt his hand on it. we messaged the owner and got no reply. - The house looks clean on first view but actually was very dirty. There was mould in the corner of one of the bedrooms hidden with a bin. - The patio doors had no handle on them, just a hole in the door. - The garden was too dangerous for the children to go outside. lose bricks in the back garden. Front garden wall was falling down - No parking outside. Had to park round the corner. - Seemed a rough area. - Very dusty throughout on photos etc. - Sticky kitchen sides. Kitchen floor was tacky. - Shower head was leaking so much that the floor was wet. Shower heads also very dirty / full of lime scale. - Massive brown stain on one of the towels

First appearance weeds in front garden and broken brick wall. No welcome letter or useful information. Remote for sky smashed. Shared the lounge with a Henry Hoover. Faults in bathrooms. Weeds in back garden. No on-site parking instead on the street in an undesirable large estate. We should have stayed 3 nights too tired from traveling and too late to move on so only stayed 1 night

great place to base for a trip to Canterbury

Three whole rooms to ourselves with a living room with Sky TV. Two Barthrooms as well. The key in the lock meant that we could all get back in whenever we needed

We couldn’t work the heating as it was on auto so it was cold the first night. we got it working for the second but it was cold. Could walk into town and campus but was quite a distance.

A bit lacking in character, but perfectly adequate as a base to explore Canterbury.

Spacious and with a good bed. An easy 20 minute walk to central Canterbury. Nice to see someone is growing veg in the garden. Very quiet estate and easy to find not far from main road.

It would benefit from a manual explaining how things work, particularly the heating as it got quite cold and I had to experiment with the boiler to warm the place up. Pots and pans are very worn - previous occupants have scratched the non stick. Would have liked casserole dish or something else to use in the oven. Couldn’t find a tin opener.

Would stay again!

Great location to Canterbury centre, local shops, pub etc. House was lovely and clean, everything was ready for us and the remote access was very well done. Spacious bedrooms with very comfy beds!!! Good back garden and a well equipped kitchen. Quiet area.

Lack of private parking There was an odd smell in bathroom (directly at the top of top stairs) - could be the runners on the shower doors, and the shower had a constant drip BUT it was very clean!!!

Amazing! Host was very considerate and kind.

Location was near to UKC and easy access for cars and public transportation. Easy street parking.

Washing machine needs some maintenance as there were old clothes left inside which made machine give bad odor.

Very good

The accommodation was very clean, bedrooms and bathrooms (bonus there was two bathrooms) were all good sizes. Location was quiet and was only a quick 10-15 minute walk to city centre.

The door locking system was a little annoying as you’d have to make sure you had the codes for them on you at all times or try to remember them if the doors were closed.

Exceptional

Perfect location, was visiting Universities for our son to start this year. The property is perfectly placed for Kent Uni. Lovely walk from Canterbury, not too far!. Has parking very much an added bonus.

Value for money accommodation , with easy access to the City Centre

Easy walking distance (less than a mile) to the City Centre. Safe, secure and comfortable property. As a 'lone' traveller having a property to myself.

The property 'blurb' assured me of 'Free Parking available on-site' which I needed for my specialised vehicle. However, there was only street parking available. That said, parking was 'free' and the street reasonably quiet and safe for parking. Facilities could have been enhanced with minor embellishments such as a shower console, boxes of tissues, coasters and the like, and possibly the provision of a clock-radio.

Unfortunately I was not sent the code for the key collection box untill I rang up the owner.

There were only a couple of glasses in kitchen so most of my group couldn't have a cold drink for bed without having it in a mug. Definitely not enough for 8 people. Also the owner was very reluctant to give us the code to access the bedroom downstairs which we had paid for.

Lovely place

Nice and close to town, clean and tidy. Comfy beds and lots of options of where to sleep if needed. Hairdryer, ironing board, utensils, lots of other useful things left. Quiet area, no noise from neighbours etc. Good communication from owners.

There was a problem with the boiler so the shower went between boiling hot and freezing cold so we couldn’t really use it. The second shower was out of use. The gardens front and back haven’t been maintained so couldn’t be used really. Overall a lovely stay though! Good for the price.

Pleasant

Good location for exploring Canterbury and the coast

On arrival accommodation was very unkempt, a little time to tidy the gardens would be beneficial also some patio furniture as inside was too small for a family to eat together. Not enough crockery and cutlery and only 3 towel for 6 of us. 2 showers but only 1 working and that was very temperamental. Washer dryer didn't dry! Wasting several hours of electicity. Doesn't appear to be a family holiday let, no information about the local area and no simple extras like board games for the children. On road parking as a nightmare!

Overall a nice place to stay

Mo breakfast, comfortable beds, clean house, quiet area, close enough to centre

Both front and.back gardens not kept, let go wild, could do with some outdoor chairs to sit out on nice day. Not enough seating for dining for a family,.only two chairs provided. No tvs in any bedrooms either, marks on walls where there used to be some. Also some cooking pans are old, need changing.

Breakfast not applicable. Accommodation clean tidy and comfortable

No real way to improve but parking was difficult I had to park some distance away both nights Limited channels available on the TV Very limited availability of tea, coffee (not so bad) and sugar.

Large fridge freezer. Good sized kitchen and bedroom. Property very clean. Bed very comfortable. Shower good pressure.

Parking was difficult. Condition of some saucepans. No casserole dish. pictures showed a TV in bedroom. There was not one in bedroom. Toaster and kettle on breakfast bar, so had to be moved if you wanted to use it. No other table available to use as a dining table. Lounge very small. No garden furniture to use in back garden. Both front and back gardens needed work.
