Great location, but could do with some work

Location was great, asda at end of road, 5 min walk to bus stop into Canterbury.

Bedroom downstairs (wasn't made aware of this when booking,not ideal with 2 young children), bed dipped in middle which made it uncomfortable, kettle didn't work every time, no dishwasher tablets, hob was temperamental.

Near to free parking to get the city centre and cathedral. Canterbury.

This is the perfect location if you are NOT looking for: Clean rooms, good beds, no mold, warm water, nice furniture. We nearly throw up after we looked at everything. This is the worst place I ever stayed at. Please do not book here!!!!!!

this house feels like it’s where people might stay for working in the area-not luxury but it didn’t impact negatively on

suited why we needed to stay (family wedding nearby)

very few glasses and crockery-not enough for everyone in one go! The shower on the landing is bizarre and black mould on the blinds in main bedroom

the house and the fotos ….nothing to compare,is cold.We were 6 persons,——we find only 3 towels …and more.We are not satisfied

Good value for money

Our host was helpful and responded promptly. All appliances were functioning adequately. We felt comfortable and had a pleasant stay.

The location was a bit farther than we expected.

Good location, nicely furnished house. Kitchen needs a little more stuff.

Good location, close to shops and town centre. Convenient parking. The house. Is well furnished and has a good level of decoration.

A few things missing, eg tea towels, dishwasher tablets and we were also short of a duvet case. More mugs and plates would be useful too.

we are not the sort of family to complain but this property was below standards to say the very least and we wanted to l

location was not too bad. nothing else

No handle on door to garden in living area No handle on frying pan Four chairs and small table in the living room despite being advertised as a property for eight or nine people Hardly any cooking utensils Handle on big knife coming off Towels and bedsheets smell of smoke In fact whole of room 3 terrible smell of smoke which we just couldn’t get rid of Codes on doors very strange Bed frame falling apart in one bedroom Mosquitoes Note to say don’t use shower! Safety hazards in garden - greenhouse and pile of stones Low pressure in tap in bathroom upstairs and broken sink plug No washing up cloths and dirty, used sponges which we had to throw away immediately

Superb

Extremely quiet area. Cosy & comfortable rooms, kitchen well furnished, 2 bathrooms, outstandingly clean. Supermarkets and a walk path nearby.

City centre is c.a 20 mins walk, just a bit too far. Must have a car.

The rooms are spacious and I like the environment. It is very quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

The house and the area.

I didn't like the price, as I thought it was a bit too expensive. I didn't like the Shared bathroom. I guess we were lucky this time cos there was only us in the house.

Family weekend

This was a great location and the host was very helpful. The accommodation was clean with lots of additional items for us to use like tablets for the dish washer. Everything we could need for a weekend was there.

Great for groups

Clean and comfortable. Just right for a group of people. Within walkable distance of Canterbury centre and a walk through the woods to Fordwich.

Seemed a bit short on kitchen and dining ware. Not enough for the nine people the property can accommodate. There was only four of us so not a problem for us but it would be better if there were proper sets of things. The notice on the spare shower requesting it not to be used unless necessary was a bit strange.

It was very dated, smelt fusty, not clean ,didn’t feel comfortable or homely, Needs a full renovation.

Very Good, well located

The rooms were a really good size, the sofa comfortable and the place clean. the shower was really good.

There was a lingering smokey smell when we walked in and some of the pillows smelled of smoke
