We had a wonderful stay at Gudauri Inn. The hotel has a great location with beautiful mountain views. Our room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and well soundproofed, which made our stay very relaxing. We also appreciated the bathroom being equipped with a bidet spray (handheld bidet/shattaf), which is a very useful convenience for many travelers. A special thank you to Kristine and the support team, who were exceptionally kind, professional, and welcoming. They assisted us with changing our reservation dates, offered flexible check-in, and even provided a free room upgrade, which greatly improved our experience.

The breakfast experience was inconsistent. On Sunday, the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. However, on Monday, the selection was much more limited and did not offer the same variety or quality. We hope the hotel can maintain a consistent breakfast standard every day.

The breakfast was varied, tasty, and served in a local style, although the cleanliness of the dining area could have been better.
Dinner in the restaurant was not available — there was only an option to pay extra for buffet-style meals. Nevertheless, the food was tasty and varied.

It was well located, about 10 min drive from new Gudaurie where snow sports activities are done. Average cost of taxi to New Gudaurie is about 30 Lari.
View from some rooms is nice
1. Beds are extremely uncomfortable. Old mattresses, extremely hard and stuffy pillows and very dusty comforters. Not properly cleaned.
2. A lot of barking dogs at night. Hardly got any sleep and hotel management wouldn’t do anything about it.
3. Rooms aren’t properly cleaned, you’ll find hair, trash under beds and around the furniture. Rooms have bad musty smell most of the times if windows are kept closed.
4. Bread served at breakfast was old. More importantly, staff constantly told guests that food is halal while it’s not. FOOD SERVED AT THE HOTEL RESTAURANT IS NOT HALAL please be careful. The staff keep saying it’s halal but it’s not. According to GiGi and Christina (reception staff) they say this to guests so they can eat at the hotel restaurant.
4. Extremely pricey for the this low level quality of service. I stayed 2 nights at SKIO hotel close to new Gudaurie and trust me that’s an amazing place and good value for money.
