I liked everything about the property. We actually had to postpone our trip because of the middle east war. The owner was so accommodating and changed the dates for us. he is super friendly and even did our washing for us. the rooms are clean, spacious and the atmosphere here are great. the breakfasts in the morning is also super delicious. would definitely stay here again.

This was our second stay at Gudauri Diamond, and the reason we returned is simple: they treated us so well the first time that whenever we go back to Gudauri, we don’t even consider staying anywhere else.
We traveled as two families — one couple with small twins and us, a couple with one preteen. When booking, the family room had already been taken by our friends, and the only room left for our week had two beds. We called George, and he was incredibly kind in helping arrange an extra sleeping place for our daughter. He was concerned about the space since it’s technically a two-person room, but we reassured him it would be perfectly fine since we planned to spend our days on the mountain and only return for a cozy bed and good food in the evenings. And that’s exactly what we got.
On our way to the hotel, our driver was hesitant to drive all the way to the entrance because of the snow, but that wasn’t a problem at all. George immediately sent the hotel driver to meet us a short distance away and bring our luggage. He did something similar for the kids later in the week — when heavy snow and poor visibility made them cold and tired after skiing, he kindly picked them up near the ski shop so they wouldn’t have to walk back.
Those kinds of small details make a huge difference. When the owners and their family are personally running the place, you can really feel the care they put into making sure guests are comfortable and well looked after.
Breakfast was generous with plenty of options for everyone. We ended up having dinner there every evening as well — delicious food, large portions, and lots of choices on the menu.
We truly cannot recommend this place highly enough. It’s a short walk to the lifts, and they also have arrangements with a ski shop that offers good deals for hotel guests.
We had an amazing stay and look forward to returning again.

George was a fantastic host, allowing us to leave our bags while skiing on our last day, before using the sauna showers and even offering a free drink, after we had checked out. The rooms are basic but effective. Initially the location felt far from the slopes, before we found the shortcut out the back which cut the walk to 10 minutes!
We did not realise the sauna was a paid addition. This was something we specifically booked for.
