Perfect - couldn’t say one bad thing!

The room and building itself was beautiful - a real French feel to it!! It was incredibly clean and had everything we needed! The location is superb - a short stroll to both the new and old town! Each stroll too was through the beautiful streets! Breakfast was lovely and the added feature of a room tidy up was a lovely surprise!

We were delighted with our stay here. Just the right blend of all the key aspects.

Loved the setting (great location in terms of ease of access to town, sights and travel) with fab view (from room 5) and style throughout the house and courtyard garden. Amelie was friendly and helpful making sure we were all fine re room, breakfast, travel and sights.

Nothing really but just a post stay note that some floor tiles were a bit loose in the ante room in room 5.

Fantastic 👍

Thank you for a lovely stay. We were very satisfied with our visit. It's a super cozy little hotel and we had a lovely, large, beautifully furnished double room with a wonderful view of the old castle. The lovely breakfast was served in the gorgeous courtyard. Here we also enjoyed a cup of tea when we got home from an excursion. Great with a coffee maker in the room and water in the fridge to take on a trip. Stunning hotel with best breakfast and interiors!

This hotel is amazing. The host is absolutely lovely and very accommodating. The breakfast is definitely the best in a hotel that I've had! The rooms are really nice and super clean. Location is right in the middle of the medieval town and the city centre, ideal for exploring both. Would absolutely stay here again!

Nothing! It's worth noting that check in closes at 6pm but contact the host if you can't get there that early.

Really hoping to come back!

We had room two which was a wonderful double room on the first floor. The room was light, large and airy as was the en-suite bathroom. Rachel is a lovely hostess and takes the time to chat and provide location information. Our check in was smoothly handled by Emily who also gave us loads of information on the town. All in all we were made to feel truly welcome and the accommodation provided was excellent. Breakfast was a treat - beautifully presented and consisting of delicious croissants, bread, cheese, salami, fruit, yoghurts, granola, juice, coffee and tea. Excellent WiFi. Nearby on street parking not exclusive to the house but there seemed to be enough of it to get a place.

Fantastic

Thanks Rachel for her hospitality and Kindness and her recommendations Fantastic location close to Medieval City, nevertheless very calm. Spacious Room and Bath with very good comfort Free Parking close by or at guarded Parkgarage only 200 m away at 7 € per 24 h We arrived late, but receipt of key and informations were perfectly organized. Would have liked to stay longer.

Great stay at the Townhouse

Enjoyed the French charm of the place. The room was clean, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was of a high standard. Perfect location to explore the old town and bastide areas. The hosts were also very helpful and friendly....we had a great stay at the Townhouse.

It was the most loveliest bed and breakfast we've ever been.

The breakfast was amazing and made with a lot f love and thoughts by the hosts. It was like sitting there with old friends and chatting. You will be provided with warm hearted tips for your trip. The rooms are big und clean with a lot of details. Thanks for everything!

A great stay for a couple

My partner and I loved how beautifully the building was renovated. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It was a great location between the castle and new town area. We absolutely loved our breakfasts! Rachel & Mark were great hosts.

There wasn't anything we didn't like about our stay at the townhouse - we were very cautious around a few loose floor tiles in our room but other than that it was great.

A delightful stay in a quiet but central location to explore Carcassonne

A charming renovated small hotel very close to both the Cite and the Town centre. The owners were very helpful with suggestions for attractions to visit and the best restaurants to have a meal.

Fab retro guesthouse in great location.

Gorgeous, atmospheric old fashioned B & B in great location. Lovely riverside walk, and easy access to the old city. Lovely welcome from Lucie, who also served a fab breakfast in the shady garden. Great communication.

We liked: • The beautiful design and features of the townhouse. • The size and facilities of the rooms. • The generous and delicious breakfast. • The location is great for reaching the medieval city or the new town. • The hosts are fantastic, friendly and always happy to help. • Price was excellent value for money.

It can get a little warm overnight if you don't leave the fan on as it's a historic building and doesn't have air conditioning. We went in July so this may well not be an issue most of the year.

Superb

The building is beautiful and lovingly restored with attention to detail. Breakfast in the courtyard was nice, nothing out of the ordinary but ticked all the continental boxes. Great communication from our friendly hosts.

No aircon in the room which was fine for the weather we had but could be a downside in the height of summer. Hosts were unable to book us an airport taxi in advance on our last day so we had to sort that ourselves - thankfully a taxi was able to collect us from the train station 15mins after we called so it wasn’t an issue, though not entirely clear why our hosts couldn’t pre-arrange. But these are small points and we would definitely recommend Carcassonne Townhouse to friends!

Fantastic well presented B&B in a great location

Fantastic Townhouse in a great location. Clean and well presented. Great breakfast with lots of choice. Coffee machine in the room and tea making facility on offer in the breakfast room as was chilled water. Rachel and Mark were super friendly and helpful. Perfect for a romantic weekend away!

Breakfast was amazing, a beautiful spread of fresh fruit and pastries! The townhouse is tastefully furnished and the bed was so comfortable. Located central to everything you could need and fantastic views of la cité right on the doorstep.
