We loved the feel, atmosphere and privacy of the Demeure St Louis. The owners were lovely people who were happy to help when needed. It’s in a great position to explore both sides of Carcassone. The swimming pool is a treat particularly after a day on your feet.

Were unable to use the breakfast as it didn't start until after the time we had to depart to hotel. There was no flexibility offered to provide anything earlier or a pre-made basket of croissants etc
The property is getting a little dated and has no lift. the bathroom only had a hand held shower in the bathtub, no ability to actually have a shower
