Room was spacious and quiet. Hotel was an easy walk to the medieval city. Hosts were very accommodating and breakfast had numerous choices. The rooms on floor 1 also came with nice outdoor access overlooking beautiful hillside landscaping which was great for evening relaxation.
A minor word of caution , Room 6 ( a Junior Suite) is an unusual layout. The entry door entered along side the open bathroom area. While this was no issue for my wife and I, it could prove a little uncomfortable for some.

It's a short walk away from the walled city of Carcassonne, the rooms are just the right size, it's got a nice pool, the staff helped us out with all our various tourism issues, and it had air conditioning in the middle of a heat wave!
The only consistent negative is it seems the egg boiler needed to be a little hotter for the provided egg timers to work. Barely even an issue.

Fantastic location, great service, great rooms with tea coffee facilities 👍🏼 and the pool was perfect for a cool down after long day around Carcassonne - with towels provided !
