The location was very good for walkability from the railway station (6 minutes), and the railway station is great, with a large shopping mall with cafes etc. It's a bit far from the core attractions (the castle, Durer's house etc.), say half an hour, but you are in the centre pretty quickly, with many options for food and drink. It is also close to the bus station and major tram stops, so getting around the city wasn't too problematic. The room was fine, and the breakfast was good.
You have to pay for everything in advance. So I had not included breakfast in my reservation, decided to get it next morning, but was told by the staff I had to go to reception and pay first, rather than adding to the bill at the end of the stay - this is not a complaint, but a 'heads-up' for other people.

Location was excellent, and was far cheaper than the Old Town Ibis despite being just a 2 minute walk from the old town
Not a massive issue but the pillows in our room may as well have been a sheet of paper they were so thin
