Sehr gute Ausgangslage um Nürnberg zu Fuß zu erkunden.

Sehr vielfältiges Frühstücksbuffett, allerdings sehr hochpreisig.

Frühstück lohnt sich aufgrund des hohen Preises nur für "Vielesser". Habe mich im Nachgang geärgert, dass wir an beiden Tagen dort gefrühstückt haben trotz der guten Qualität und vielfältigen Auswahl.

Clean hotel, nice location near the opera house, very close to the old town and metro. Polite staff and easy check in check out.

Absolutely excellent.

The desk staff were super chill and helpful, the room was very comfortable, well-appointed and spacious, ensuite was really nice. Hair dryer, iron and ironing board were provided, as was a kettle, mini fridge, laptop safe, etc. The decor and general feel of the room was very agreeable. There's a basement fitness suite with sauna and swimming pool, charged at a (very reasonable) one off extra cost per per stay. Everything was immaculately clean. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere, and generous check in and check out times. I didn't try the swimming pool as I didn't have bathing trunks, but it looked lovely. I stayed only one night, after a relaxation day following a week on business in Nürnberg. The moment I checked in, I wished I'd stayed at the Scandic the whole week, and it will be my first choice in future. Already recommended to colleagues. Minor niggles include that breakfast is not included in the room price (and is priced a little on the high side, I felt). I opted to get breakfast out and about, so I can't speak for its quality. However, if the hotel in general is any indication, I would expect the breakfast to be both excellent, and good value for money. The sauna temperature and humidity regulation seemed pretty random! Obviously, overall price is a factor, but for the amount I paid for a decent double room, the Scandic met or exceeded my expectations in every respect, indeed it genuinely delighted me. A truly relaxing, stress-free place to stay, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Any minor niggles I had would not even slightly put me off staying at the Scandic.

Big price, no breakfast.

Velmi čistý hotel, výborná dostupnosť.

Predražený hotel, za tak vysokú sumu nie sú ani raňajky a parkovanie v cene, čo je standard i u hotelov nižšej kategórie. Najhoršie, že túto informáciu dostane hosť až pri ubytovaní. Dosť ma to sklamalo a určite budem nabudúce hľadať iný hotel,ktorý hostí informuje poctivo a nesnaží sa takýmto podlým spôsobom vytiahnuť peniaze z hostí. Tieto dve veci vymazali i ak veľmi dobrý dojem, pretože hotel je pekný, ale nepoctivy prístup je jednoducho najrýchlejší spôsob ako odradiť hostí.

Es wird ein Pool und eine Sauna angeboten... Aber nach Ankunft im Hotel wird man zur Kasse gebeten.. No GO!!! Wäre besser vorher bekannt zu geben.. Parkplatz vorhanden... Aber auch gepfeffert Preise .... Andere namhafte internationale Hotelketten nehmen die Hälfte....

Nice hotel, but too expensive for the minimum services they give.

The location was good and the hotel rooms looked quite new. Breakfast was nice.

The price of the room was very steep, even though I had to pay extra for almost everything: parking, breakfast, swimming pool, sauna. There was no mini-bar, and no coffee machine in the room. The price/quality level was just not right. A little bit annoying is that they don't clean the rooms anymore. If you want to have your room cleaned you need to stand in line in the morning for sometimes more than half an hour to request to get your room cleaned. Tried to put the "clean my room' at my door, but they ignored this, you really have to stand in line. They say this is eco-friendly, but I don't see what is so eco-unfriendly about making up a bed and emptying a trash can. It appear to me to just another way of decreasing the service to make some more money.

Perfektes Hotel in bester Lage

Wunderbar schöne Zimmer, sauberes und geräumiges Bad, sehr nettes Personal. Perfekte Lage. Parkhaus direkt unter dem hotel. Das Frühstück seeeehr reichhaltig. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Die Kopfkissen waren für meinen Geschmack etwas zu weich.

Pomander Nürnberg: Eine wiederholenswerte Erfahrung

+ Zentrale Lage (sehr nahe der Oper, Hauptbahnhof ebenfalls fußläufig) an der Stadtmauer - zwar ist eine Hauptstraße zwischen Hotel und Mauer, aber direkt am Seitenausgang des Hotels ist eine Fußgängerunterführung, so erreicht man in 1 Minute den Grüngürtel innerhalb der Mauer. + Interieur sehr ansprechend gestaltet, sowohl die öffentlichen Räumlichkeiten als auch die Zimmer + exzellentes, d.h. qualitativ hochwertiges, quantitativ-auswahlmäßig für Omnivoren tolles, für vegetarisch sehr gutes und für vegan mehr als passables Frühstück (als Pflanzenmilchsorten standen Mandel, Hafer und Soja zur Auswahl, der vegane Cappuccino wurde vom tollen Personal individuell zubereitet) + tolles engagiertes Personal + schöner, halbwegs großer Pool, dort gute Ausstattung mit Bademänteln etc.

- Aus der Beschreibung ging nicht hervor, dass die Haustiermitnahme an die Buchung eines Hunde-Specials geknüpft ist. Wurde hoffentlich inzwischen angepasst. - Pflegeprodukte in Duschen des Poolbereichs waren an zwei Tagen teilweise leer - Menschen mit Hunden mussten Frühstück außerhalb des eigentlichen Frühstückraums einnehmen. Dafür war es jedoch recht gut gelöst. - Doppelzimmer hatte EINEN superbequemen Lesesessel. Die zweite Person musste sich mit dem Bett oder Schreibtischstuhl arrangieren.

Stabiler Aufenthalt, wenn die menschliche Komponente nicht wichtig ist.

Die Unterkunft war sehr zentral gelegen und die Zimmer waren gross und sauber.

Das Personal war ein wenig unfreundlich. Wir wurden nicht richtig begrüsst, irgendwie hat man gespürt, dass sie keine Lust hatten. Beim Auschecken, haben drei Personen miteinander rumgealbert und wir konnten keinen anständigend Check-Out machen, da Sie immer wieder einen Lachanfall bekommen hat. Die Mitarbeitenden haben sich über jemanden lustig gemacht - dies hat man durch dir ganze Halle mitbekommen - Echt schade.

Sehr empfehlenswertes Stadthotel.

Das Gebäude ist überlegt renoviert und auf den neuesten Stand gebracht. Auch die Zimmer zur Straße sind dank der Schallschutzfenster ruhig. Die Betten sind gut. Die Tiefgarage ist geräumig. Die Unterführung durch den Frauengraben führt direkt zur Altstadt. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis passt.

Since the hotel recently changed ownership and systems, many staff members may still be underqualified, resulting in a lack of service-oriented mindset and occasional oversight of important information for guests

- Direkte Nähe zur Altstadt - tolles und außergewöhnliches Frühstück - sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal - sauber und schick

- Klimaanlage im Zimmer funktioniert nicht ausreichend, ist recht laut und Luft wirkt nicht frisch

Amazing location, friendly reception staff, housekeeping disruptive.

The most perfect location in Nuremberg. Room was very clean and had all the necessary amenities.

Housekeeping knocked and opened the door several times in the morning from 8am when my checkout time was planned for 12:00. Have told them, but they still opening the door with myself sleeping undressed.

Excellent hotel.

The hotel (formerly the Maritim Hotel and then the Pomander for a short period) is perfectly located for train travellers, a short 5 min walk from the Nürnberg central station. The hotel is comfortable and clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant serves an excellent breakfast and dinner (try the hotdog).

Since it's by the train station, it's a 10-15 min walk to reach the centre of Nürnberg "old town".

Schmutzig, modern in einer guten Lage.

Die Lage.

Wir haben Haare auf dem Bett vorgefunden und die Handtücher waren so schlecht gewaschen, dass wir die gar nicht benutzen können. Das Personal an dem Abend wo wir es gemeldet haben hat unsere Handtücher nicht ausgetauscht.

Wundervoll!

Ein sehr schönes Hotel für einen Wochenend-Trip nach Nürnberg. Zentral gelegen ,so dass man das Auto getrost in der Hotelgarage abstellen kann und nicht mehr braucht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und das Frühstück war der Oberhammer. Dafür könnte man glatt nochmal wiederkommen. 👍

Für mich gab es nichts zu bemängeln.

Booked the hotel purely because it offered a pool and sauna, and they were working so I was very disappointed .

Very nice hotel loved it.

Close to the train station and some nice restaurants right in the center of the city basically.

The shower was open so water was getting all over the floor

Een goed hotel bij de stadsmuur.

Goede locatie je bent zo in de stad. Vlak bij metro en dan zo bij het vliegveld. En een goed ontbijt.

Het zwembad en sauna was precies onze periode met onderhoud bezig.

Immer wieder gerne

Spa Bereich und Ruhe Raum waren sehr gut. Möglichkeit von Bademantel und Handtüchern in dem Bereich, sorgen für leichteres Gepäck. Service war sehr freundlich & online Check-In und online Check - Out waren sehr angenehm.

Das Wasser im Pool war leider sehr kalt. Im 3 OG war der Geruch nach Zimt (was in den Fluren ausgeströmt wird) etwas sehr stark.
