The location is very centric and there is an elevator in the building, the building itself is renovated, quiet and clean.
The apartment needs some work. For the high price of this apartment, there must be equal services provided, not just the good location. The furniture needs to be changed or deep cleaned. Sofa and carpet were stained - not pleasant. The bath is worn out and the kitchen supplies such as frying pans need to be changed.

This was a large spacious apartment. There is a washing machine that was a great way to get laundry done during a 17 day trip.
For people with mobility issues: This apartment is in a building with an elevator. But there are still 4-5 steps from the street level to the front door of the building. And then another 4-5 steps from the building lobby to the elevator.
This isn't a dislike, just more of a "good to know". This apartment is NOT in the old town area of Riga. It is in what's called downtown which is an area of the city that was built in the late 1800's/early 1900's. The apartment was close to bus stops and it was not difficult to get around Riga and see the sights. There are restaurants near by.
