Apartment very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Rooms spacious with plenty storage. Decent kitchen facilities. Communication very good with staff. Location peaceful with easu access to city.
Balcony small and faced a wall. Could not use, but thus didn't spoil our stay.

The apartment was about a 15 minute walk from Old Town. The apartment was spacious and very clean. Both bedrooms were roomy. We had free off street parking. The staff was responsive and helpful. There was also a washing machine and drying rack which was nice since we were there for 9 days.
A couple days were very warm and without air conditioning, the apartment got very warm.

Some good mentions:
- The apartment had necessary stuff for cooking, washing clothes, dishwashing, all the shampoos. So, it was convenient, not needing to buy those.
- Also, the building was in the good location, not far away from the center and walkable to the old town (~20 minutes)
- Option to check-in earlier
False information about parking + staff didn't inform us about upcoming maintenance:
- No Parking in the inner courtyard although it was mentioned in the description. Maybe they have 1 spot there, but we (and other people according to recent reviews) were asked to park in some yard on the other street. This was troublesome as we were travelling with a baby, so needed to bring lots of baby items through the rain from another street. When searching for a place to stay, the good parking options was the main criteria for us, but we were deceived by false information. Adding the photo of the actual parking we got
- There was no hot water in the district for 1.5 days. If we were informed about it earlier, we would have stayed in another district. There was announcement about it in Riga Heating Company website 1 week before the maintenance, but the owner didn't inform us. Again, another challenge which made our stay bad.
- Staff was overcommunicating via different channels. Instead of communicating via official Booking.com chat, the owners sent multiple emails, also WhatApp messages from different phone numbers. Also, they asked to repeat the same information which was already provided (car licence number, check in, check out times). Also, they were writing to us almost every day during our stay and a few days before.
Overall, we wouldn't have booked it if this information was known to us before booking.
