P 1779 was only a short walk from the train station and easily manageable with our suitcases. Max was very helpful on check in and gave us a number of recommendations which helped us made the most of our short time in Venice. Our room was very large, especially compared to others in the city. We enjoyed having our breakfast in the garden in the morning, which had a nice selection of pastries and cold meats to choose from.
If you’re tired from walking all day, our room was on the top floor so be ready for a few more steps!

A beautiful BnB, in the heart of Cannaregio. After a long day of sightseeing it was a comfortable place to return to with its well appointed room, stunning views out the room window and lush courtyard at the back where you could sit and relax. Breakfast was served by friendly staff (so enjoyed meeting you Rita!) The fresh pastries, fruit and coffee were delicious. Thank you Max for the lovely stay and great tips for navigating Venice!
Maybe the pillows could have been softer and fluffier…but we still slept soundly.

large room, no mold, very comfortable bed, nice restaurants in the area, good breakfast. can’t believe there is such a good value for money stay in venice.
