We chose this hotel mainly because of its proximity to our congress venue. It’s located in a really unique part of Barcelona around the old port area. We especially enjoyed the rooftop bar and pool terrace, which were great places to relax after a busy day.
Overall, all good. When you’re travelling for work, you have slightly different needs and expectations, and for us the location worked really well. Nothing major to complain about.

The beds were huge and extremely comfortable, and we really appreciated having proper blackout curtains and good air conditioning in the room. The pool area was also very nice and a great place to relax. Overall, the hotel itself was comfortable and well equipped.
The reception staff seemed a little on edge at times, although nothing major happened and our interactions were generally fine. Room cleaning was somewhat unpredictable in terms of timing, which could be inconvenient. The location is also quite far from central Barcelona if sightseeing is your main reason for visiting, although getting around by taxi is easy enough. We didn’t try the breakfast, so can’t comment on that. Overall, we found the hotel quite expensive for the experience offered.

Most of the staff were friendly
Room was clean
Firstly we arrived at 1pm to find the lifts broken. We were led through the kitchen into a service lift then bundled onto it with no explanation. We came out into a cupboard!
The room needed a complete renovation. The bathroom is so old fashioned.
Plug in the sink and bidet didn’t work
I thought that the hotel was on the beach. There is a very busy main road underpass plus 2 roads between the hotel and the beach. The photos are deceiving. The pool is not much more than a plunge pool with a very dangerous and uncomfortable stainless steel bobbled surface (why?)
It is not a beach holiday location really
This hotel should not be more than 4 star and at over €400 with no breakfast a night it’s a no from me
