Very near the Sol metro, very central, great location,lots of restaurants, bars and shops within easy walking distance. Ring the bell , Up two floors ( four flights of stairs) to reception ( walking so be aware of that) . Spanish spoken but very helpful and kind staff that helped with my woefully bad Spanish. Small single bedroom and ensuite bathroom, v. clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable, there was wifi that worked well. The shower is in a very small but high sided bathtub, so a high step in/out and no mat/grip inside the tub so watch for slipping. Absolutely a great value stay ( I only paid around 50 euros per night!) in the center of Madrid. There is also a luggage keep for Two euros on check out so I had a lovely luggage free day walk about on my last day.
All was fine for me but walk up and high bath/ shower entry may be an issue for some.

Basic/simple (but practical) accommodation in the heart of the city. Accommodation on Madrid is typically not cheap so this sufficed.
