Honestly breakfast was a good and bad value. I was dealing with an issue and the wonderful attendant Gabriela intervened to help me out(more about that later). So I decided to have breakfast. They brought me out some scrambled eggs because they had ran out and I ate a couple pieces of ham. A la carte there is no way this would have cost 15 euros. For the folks who love to eat a lot, it's an amazing bargain. But, for those that aren't big eaters, it's not such a great deal. The thing I enjoyed most was how courteous and helpful Gabriela was. I had an issue with the company I had rented a car from. To make a long story short, she helped by calling the company( I don't speak German) and she even contacted them on her personal phone via Whatsapp to make sure I had all the information I needed of where to return the car. All I could think was, wow, this is unbelievable how much they care about their guests. She went above and beyond to ensure I had all the information I needed. Because of this when I saw a choice of a hotel stay in Warsaw, I chose another Ibis Styles hotel location. đ The gentleman when I checked in was super courteous too.

Fairly far away from Ostbahnhof and other East Berlin sights.

A rather old building, but everything works well and is in good condition. I got a room on the 8th floor with a gorgeous view of the river. The room was spacious and clean, the furniture was in good shape, and while the sound insulation wasnât perfect, it was good enough. I couldnât find parking right next to the hotel, but the hotel sent me clear instructions in advance on where to park (about 200 meters away, along a convenient and wellâlit street).
there was a noticeable sewage smell in the lobby and corridor, although fortunately it was barely noticeable inside the room. If not for that, I would have rated my stay higher
