The room was a really good size with a lovely ensuite and a closet with a mini bar. Bed was super comfortable. Window had a second window screen over the outer one which reduced the noise (I didn’t hear any!). It’s a lovely pub and the layout is quirky. So much nicer than staying in a bland hi rise hotel. We were heading to Wembley so it wasn’t too far to travel from. Staff were lovely and attentive when we arrived and would definitely stay here again.
Breakfast was good although the service was a bit slow - we were waiting over 30 mins in total and there were only 4 or 5 others having breakfast. Although there were two local groups (assume that they hire the space every week for meeting or bingo etc) so staff may have been looking after them also.
A small thing but there were no biscuits provided with the tea and coffee facilities in the room. Also shower spray went on the floor quite a bit so maybe the head needs a little descaling ? I know it’s a small thing but we weren’t asked how our stay was on checkout. Apart from those few things - I would definitely rate this hotel 9/10.
