Easy and fuss free check in. I was there for a wedding, and I was kindly allowed a later check out. The breakfast was the best I've ever had. Food was hot and was freshly cooked. Well done to the chef! Complimentary bottled water in the room, which was nicely furnished. Bathroom was clean with complimentary hand and body wash and cream. All site staff were friendly and welcoming.
Just some minor points that did not ruin my overall experience. The tea cup in the room has a small chip on the rim and there was a tea stain inside. A quick rinse and rub under bathroom tap got rid of the stain. The shower has some black 'mould' like stains on the grouting/sealant where the wall meets the shower glass. Maybe some new grouting/sealing will put that to right.

Gorgeous little village and perfect for our stay after getting off the euro tunnel with our dog. We couldn’t face the 4 hr drive north. Extremely dog friendly and the staff were absolutely delightful and friendly. Nice dinner in the pub as well

Nice village
Uncomfortable bed; lumpy matress and lumpy pillows. Food average. Service average. One person for breakfast which made service slow: most people - including ourselves- were on way to Folkestone eurotunnel so this was a bit problematic
