72QT (Queensborough Terrace) is well placed to easily reach London's West End. It's location is just a 10-15 minute walk from the top end of Oxford Street/Marble Arch. The nearest tube, Queensway, and the Central Line, are just a 5 minute walk from the accommodation. Bayswater underground is also only 100 metres walk from Queensway Underground, for the Circle & District Lines. Perfect for the West End; Kensington Gardens opposite; lots of good places to eat nearby.
72QT is best described as a Guest House as opposed a Hotel, spread over 4 floors with a bar in the basement (this wasn't open during our stay) that also serves up a traditional Latvian Meal on Saturdays when open. Overall the accommodation is clean, tidy and welcoming. Room facilities are basic, with tea/coffee available; toiletries; clean towels and reasonably comfortable beds. Staying here, you need to bear in mind that some of the establishment has shared facilities for toilets and bathrooms, however we had one of the family rooms for 3 and these have their own ensuite with shower and toilet.
72QT staff are all exceptionally friendly and happy to help whether that was reception; kitchen staff or housekeeping. Breakfast is superb as many others have said in their reviews - OK, you are limited to one of each hot item, no substitutes, however it is a very nice breakfast and you select what you would like and it's freshly made for you. Plenty of fruit/cereals/bread/yogurts/fresh juices/tea & coffee/jams, all available to help yourself. They cater for GF persons too, just ask. They are constantly replenishing and if something runs out, again just ask and they happily oblige.
Whilst the rooms are clean, tidy and basic, they do look a little tired and a lick of paint wouldn't go amiss. The interior walls are mostly stud walls and It was sometimes a little noisy, with adjoining rooms. Whilst we had a family room with private bathroom, we were on the ground floor. The drawback of this room; we were near to rooms that used the shared facilities and other guests are frequenting these regularly, so the opening and closing of doors can be a bit irritating. Additonally we also had the noise of rooms above to contend with - it's an assumption, we don't think any rooms had carpet and the floors were laminate, so this emphasised noise more. However as the saying goes, you pay your money, you take the chances!
NOTE:- Neither of the issues highlighted would put us off staying again, and we would happily do so if we are in the city for a concert or the theatre at a future date.

Great location. The hotel was close to two tube stations and amenities. The room was good. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was okay.
The white fillers between the tiles in the shower room and toilette was dark in colour, it was mouldy.
