Absolutely loved the location, so close to queensway station to travel to bond street or oxford street within 5 minutes, good restaurants nearby

I wish the shower wasn't fixed and had a hose other than that no issue

London ist eine phantastische Stadt. Uns hat der Aufenthalt super gefallen.

Die Lage in der Nähe von 2 U-Bahnen, guten Restaurants, die Ruhe nachts einer Nebenstraße direct am Hydepark war für unseren Kurztrip nach London optimal. 1h nach Gatwick mit der Bahn!!

Kleines Zimmer, sehr beengtes Bad, und bei Ankunft war das Hotel komplett eingerüstet. Bauarbeiten begannen an unserem Abreisetag, zum Glück. Schlagbohren ging garnicht. Zum Glück waren wir unterwegs.

It was overall ok.

Staff is really nice and friendly. Breakfast is ok. Location is quite good and they also have a nice bar.

Bathroom is small and ugly. There was no view cause they were under construction so the window was blocked by a scaffolding. USB outlets didn't work at all.

Will not stop staying here and can’t wait to see what has been done to the hotel once construction is completed

We always stay here at least twice a year, it’s like a home from home and great location and friendly staff

Unfortunately the construction going on this and the last time we stayed was disruptive, our fault for not asking to move rooms but don’t know why they are putting guests in rooms when they know there is going to be construction above them

Amazing, enjoyed our stay

Location near subway and restaurant 5 minutes walk

Hotel was under renovation only one elevator working , you have to wait a while specially if you are in the top floor

A lovely hotel & extremely good value for money.

The hotel on the whole was absolutely fantastic.

Although the shower was amazing I wasn’t able to turn the temperature down no matter what I tried. It was scalding hot and I struggled to rinse my hair and body in the end. The lack of parking close by is a massive issue also.

Great location but need better standard of rooms

Very well located, close to two tube stations, a short walk to Kensington and Notting Hill. Lots of shops, pubs and restaurants around. The bed was comfortable. The staff were very nice and polite.

It wasn’t the cleanest, the bathroom was quite dirty. We didn’t have hot water on one of the days. The room had a weird set up.

Alt i alt var det et godt ophold, hvor man fik valuta for pengene.

Morgenmaden var fin og badeværelset var nyrenoveret. lokalitet var perfekt.

Der var mug på værelset og indeklimaet var meget dårligt. Vinduet var åbent det meste af dagen på grund af det.

Very nice overall

Breakfast was delicious with a variety and affordable

My boyfriend and I got stuck in the elevator for half an hour, we were pretty chill just took ages for someone to help us even when we pressed the call button, luckily a staff member helped us out of the small gap in the top and gave us a complimentary breakfast the next morning

The gentleman on reception had awful body odour. It could be smelt before you reached the desk at reception. It was so strong. There was no way his manager or colleagues couldn't smell this

SOGGIORNO DISCRETO, PERFETTO PER CHI VUOLE FARE UNA VACANZA SENZA TROPPE PRETESE

La stanza era pulita, la posizione molto comoda e all'entrata mi pareva quasi un 4 stelle. Per quello che abbiamo pagato e per le nostre esigenze (avevamo bisogno solo di un posto con un letto e un bagno pulito vicino al centro) direi di essere soddisfatta. La camera aveva tutto il necessario (tranne le ciabatte).

Purtroppo ci sono delle cose da migliorare e che cambiano nettamente la qualità del soggiorno. Il mio ragazzo più di me si è infastidito per i lavori: fuori dalla nostra finestra c'erano gli uomini sulle impalcature che lavoravano ogni mattina alle 8:30. Non è piacevole soprattutto perché usavano anche il trapano svegliandoci spesso prima delle sveglie. L'albergo aveva mandato degli avvisi che è in fase di ristrutturazione, ma queste situazioni possono causare disagi. Inoltre la nostra doccia ogni tanto gocciolava e perdeva acqua, ci ha svegliato qualche volta in piena notte. La camera è veramente piccola ed anche il bagno lo è.

Brilliant hope to be back

Very good location, nice comfortable bed very helpful staff.

There wasn’t much to dislike about this property. It is being renovated but I was emailed beforehand and it didn’t affect my stay.

The hotel had fantastic location. Staff was not friendly enough, and the room was not suitable for a couple.

Fantastic location, very central easy access to the tube station.

There was an Indian boy who checked us in when we arrived to the hotel. He didn’t look very friendly. He looked as he is bored of his job. The room 429 in fourth floor. They did not have Bath sheets, was not suitable for couple to stay. The toilet was very small with shower room. We have checked out a day before, did not find the stuff, very friendly. The room was cold, however, they did have a heater in the room so it wasn’t that bad. My partner did not stay in the hotel only I stayed. Because the first impression of the Hotel staff was not friendly that’s why I did not bother to go up to the reception again to ask them anything else,about the hotel.

We know what the place is like as we have been here at least 4 times. We cope with it.

We have stayed here several times because of the location. It is well placed for Paddington Station, Queensway shopping and restaurant area, buses to Piccadilly Circus and Westminster, and Kensington Gardens is very close. The walk from the station to the hotel is beautiful. It is reasonably priced for London and for the location. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The building is a heat trap. That is fine in the winter, but can be very uncomfortable in the summer. Most of the rooms are not air conditioned. The windows open about 6 inches and each room has a fan. The bathrooms can be very small and claustrophobic. However, they are very clean. You get clean towels every day - this is necessary as the towels are very thin.

Great staff and location

It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was very helpful.

The shower gel provided was very smelly. The shower handle was broken. A bit of a stuffy room with no temperature control at all.

Booked and paid for 2 nights, stayed 1 . Spoke to staff at reception who failed to acknowledge that we were dissatisfied

Poor quality finish, old decor, tiny tv, no usb ports, toilet seat too small for toilet, window looking out at concrete wall. Double Mattress very thin and could feel the springs

un bellissimo soggiorno

Personale gentile, hotel pulito e soprattutto la camera abbastanza grande rispetto a quelle che si vedono e pulita (abbiamo chiesto una camera con la finestra e la doccia e ci hanno accontentato...assicuro che la doccia molto grande...120x60)...posizione ottima...a pochissimi passi dalla fermata della metro Queensway e del pullman.... in poco meno di 15 minuti si è Liverpool street....

se proprio devo dire una nota negativa...non hanno le ciabatte per gli ospiti...ci siamo dimenticati e come molti hotel le offrono qui non c'erano......e un'altra cosa non hanno la sbarra di protezione per il letto dei bambini piccoli....

Good value.

Deluxe twin room was spacious for London. On the 5th floor so it was quiet. Beds comfortable, shower good with exhaust fan. Has a small fridge, unusual for a British hotel! Luggage storage at an extra charge was great when we checked out, as our flight wasn't until later that evening. Bar was nice for a quiet drink. Near Qeensway and Bayswater tube, shops and restaurants around the corner.

Deluxe room, but no air conditioning, just a small fan, room was very hot. Tiny TV stuck on the wall that was about the size of an ipad, a bit strange, couldn't even see it from the bed!

Le plaisir de quitter cet hôtel â la fin de notre séjour.

Absence ou panne de climatisation , rempnlacée par un vulgaire ventilateur. Chaleur insupportable en chambre, donc obligation de dormir fenêtres ouvertes, avec tous les bruits de la rue. En réception aucune explication sur la panne de Clim .

Room was a furnace (not weather related), no sleep.

It was well located

The room was unbearably hot. It was nothing to do with the weather, I think it was located close to the services area as we could feel the temperature increasing as we walked down the corridor to our room. Even sleeping without clothes or covers we were drowned in sweat, and got about 2 hours of sleep. We asked to change rooms but were told they were fully booked - they didn’t seem surprised by our concerns so I would say they receive requests frequently. Would never stay here again
