Out of all our visits, unit 403 is our new favorite. Building is closer to beach, so walk is closer, larger balcony and fantastic view! This unit has an updated kitchen with granite counter-tops and wood-look tile throughout. Both bedrooms were well furnished (this unit has a safari theme) and all mattresses were super comfy! We've stayed in some units with uncomfortable mattresses and that can make or break your stay after a couple rough nights. We've decided unit 403 is our new home away from home when in South Padre Island." IMPORTANT FEATURES *2 Bedrooms: 1 King, 2 Twins *Sofa Bed *Sleep Capacity: 6 *Bathrooms: 2, Master bath includes tub/shower combo *Fully Equipped Kitchen *Patio/Balcony *The pet fee is $25 a day plus taxes. Only small, non-shedding, well behaved dogs are allowed. *1100 approximate sq feet *Coin-operated laundry facilities are available in the condo complex. *Padre Island Rentals has a free towel and linen exchange for towels and linens provided by Padre Island Rentals; this is located on the east side (beachside) of the Padre Island Rentals building. Exchange hours are between 11 am and 3 pm daily. *Padre Island Rental's off-site 24-hour Guest Welcome Center makes check-in and late arrivals a breeze. RESORT FEES All reservations with dates of stay from March 1st to Easter Sunday require a one-time per-person Resort Fee of $33. The Resort Fee is required for all guests from 10 years of age to 32. Guests ages 9 and under are exempt. Guests ages 33 and older are exempt. Please notify us of the number of guests in your group for whom the resort fee will apply. The property is great and easy access to everything including the beach. The only issue was hair on the shower drains was cleaned everything else was decent, we will definitely stay there again.

The condo is right on the beach with an amazing view. I recommended waking up early to watch the sunrise from the balcony- breathtaking!
My family if 5 slept so comfortable and we were able to cook dinner for ourselves and friends who stayed in a condo downstairs- the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed- even a crockpot!
Definitely staying here again!

Everything was amazing! 🥰 Great view on the balcony with perfect seating. Kitchen was really important because we mostly cooked and at there in the condo. All furniture and condo was clean, except for the hair left in the shower drain along with an eye contact in the master bedroom. There are towels in condo but they cannot be taken out so definitely bring your own! Overall it was a fun and enjoyable stay.

Great weekend, great location
The unit itself and property was very well maintained. Easy access to beach, overall great stay. We had one minor issue and it was taken care of immediately. Plenty of parking and good location for walking to a few restaurants and stores.

The kitchen is big and well stocked....minus a pot large enough to make pasta or boil shrimp, which was surprising. The only other thing missing was any type of cleaning supplies. They did provide dish soap, but a few more supplies would have really come in handy when trying to clean up after a meal and wipe down the counters. Those things would not keep me from coming back, but I'll be sure to bring some things for quick clean-ups and a nice stock pot. All in all it was a great week!

Came for a family vacation, right when you walk in and see the ocean you are so happy! Wonderful views, very nice resort! The only down was we arrived on a Saturday late afternoon and the traffic was unbelievably horrible, so to find out where the location of the office was to get room codes instead of just checking into the hotel itself was kind of annoying and it took almost an hour to go half a mile then back to the hotel, we were tired and just wanted to get settled, other than that the condo and views were great! Very comfortable stay!

Broken Oven and Blind
The oven was broken and was not fixed or replaced. I wanted to bake potatoes the first night and couldn't. I wanted to bake fish and couldn't. I wanted to make an anniversary cake and couldn't.
The blind in the living room was broken and not fixed. Before my stay, I contacted the owner to inquire if the blind would be fixed and never received an answer. The result was the view was cut in half. The outside dirty rugs were left on the luggage rack in the master closet. I paid premium for a fully functional kitchen which I didn't get.

The location was perfect, truly walking distance from the beach!
Just minutes away from food, stores, etc. Super comfy beds and the condo was spotless. The view was amazing and we loved the updates inside this property! Beach is dog friendly - which was a pleasant surprise.

Kids first beach visit
This apartment was a breathtaking for my 4 year old girl and 2 year old boy. This was their first time seeing the ocean. Sleep 6 very comfortable; we are family of four and our dog (she stay in kennel most because we were out every day all day. The walking distance is perfect for family with small children. The apartment is ridiculous well keep and clean. Is worth every penny. We will be staying again. Thank you for making it a memorable time

The property was updated and clean. Beds and everything were comfortable and as expected. Updated tile and countertops gave the condo a more modern feel than our friends that stayed in other rooms within the complex.
The only complaint would be regarding the shower in the master bedroom. It didn't drain as well as it should and I ended up taking a shower in a pool of water at my feet. Our family of 4 ended up using the other shower the rest of our trip. Minor problem and easy fix. Definitely recommend the property.

Great job on updates to an 80s property.
We love Saida resort, and really enjoyed the views from this unit and building! Saida does a great job with maintaining the property grounds. The owners did a great job with the remodel of this unit. With that said, Saida is an 80s property, so water tends to smell a bit. This assumption is based on similar issues with other properties built in the 80s vs. our experience at the Sapphire which was built in 2006. However, you will not hear the waves or be able to take advantage of poolside grill at Sapphire, so we still vote Saida as best place to experience South Padre. Thanks for a great long weekend!

Very comfortable, well appointed condo. The property is well taken care of and makes for a great stay. The only downside were the pillows were not very comfortable for us.

Loved this condo!
Made a last minute trip for a birthday. The condo was clean and right on the beach. The community is gated and feels very safe. Not sure if we had neighbors but there were no noise issues. Would for sure consider coming back here!

The view!
We have stayed on South Padre Island, Saida Towers for the past 10 years with various rental agencies. This condo was very clean and the view from Tower 1 is certainly the best. The beach is the closest and there is a bit more privacy than the other towers. The balcony furniture was up to date and comfy (not hanging by a thread from the 80s). Bring your binoculars so you can see the boats coming in and out as well as the pelicans that fly overhead every day.
The rooms are a tad smaller, but well worth it for the view and beach access. The floors are a ceramic "wood plank" which is so practical for the wet/sandy environment and they look so nice. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean and beds were comfortable (not sagging in the middle like some rentals). And for once- we didn't have ants move in as soon as we stocked the pantry :) Really nice stay overall!
