Everything! The interior design, the facilities (the sauna and hair straighteners especially), the care taken from the staff members to make our stay extra special (flowers, prosecco and a lovely breakfast box for an early morning) and the location. Highly recommend and we will stay here again when we next visit Venice.
There is a slightly damp smell in the room as it is beside the canal but they give you a deodoriser which removed the smell after a while.

Charming breakfast courtyard, good size room and bathroom, lovely frescoed ceiling but the things that stood out were the staff and the owner - exceptional. Delicious breakfasts too!

Location was perfect as we enjoyed having the whole of Venice being very accessible.
Unfortunately there was a humming/ spinning sound (apparently not from the hotel itself) all the time which kept us awake at night.
