This is a traditional Inn in a superb location in the British Lake district with a good breakfast included it represented good value for money and any needs or issues were dealt with swiftly and in a professional manner .
The beds were a shade on the hard side .

A very good breakfast. I had a vegetarian full English breakfast and it was well cooked and not greasy. Staff were very friendly. I liked that they had a dog friendly dining room.
Our dog is very well behaved and does not go on furniture. Shame we could not leave the dog in the room without a crate, but I understand why the rule is there.

staff were very helpfull. the hotel vibe. if you have a car then the hotel will fit you. but sofar as price its acceptable as lake disctrict is expensive place. best city to visit is bownes. windmere, gramster
It's in small village far from the city it has bus station 10 min walk . but u need to change the bus in another city ambleside to go everywhere else. if u need quite valley experince its great. The mobile data or wifi doesnt work in the room due to the connection coverage.
