Relaxing good room sizes, not too far to walk to Echoland. Onsen is great, buffet breakfast with mix of Japanese and European food. First stop for free shuttle to Hakuba47 Iimori goryu Escalade ski resorts
I would highly recommend a sneeze screen be put up for the buffet as during our stay this time so many sick people sneezing at the food was off putting when you want to enjoy it.

Hotel was very pleasant and convenient for skiing. Onsens were very relaxing and clean.

This was our 4th time staying in Oak Forest over the last 10 years. We enjoyed the breakfast which now provides more options (buffet style) than in the past. Staff are always friendly and accommodating and have a good command of English (and some other languages too). It is was very easy to ship our ski gear in advance to be held in storage. The dry room is really comfortable with a good space allocation for each room. Bus access to major ski resorts is very convenient, especially since Oak Forest is one of the first stops when the bus is still empty.

Convenient location. Staff at reception was helpful.
Bathroom cleaning was disappointing. I spot a drop of blood stain at the toilet seat once we went into the room.
