Le minimum pour être bien donc un peu chère 👍🏻

L’emplacement et la propreté étaient très bien ! Cadre très sympas malgré un temps de cochons on a apprécié les alentours. Rivière et mouton en guise de voisins. (Si possible j’aurais mis 6,5 pour tout ça, 7 un peu trop pour ce que c’est)

Les deux grands points noir sont -Le manque d’équipement dans la cuisine et l’ancienneté, nous avons du cuire notre poulet dans une casserole. -L’isolation phonique n’est pas extraordinaire, autant être très fatigué pour pas entendre ce qui se passe dans toute la maison. Pour être tatillons les matelas sont d’une autre époque (armature métallique) et les locaux sont vétustes et mal chauffé (largement supportable). Pour 15/20euros de moins nous aurions accepté ces inconvénients sans broncher.

Value for money

Venue is relatively “close” to Husavik (whale watching and GeoSea) and all the nature around Lake Myvatn. We were a bit sceptical on what to expect after reading other reviews but were pleasantly surprised by how clean it was. The kitchen is well equiped and clean. Shower and toilet on ground floor are also fine. Beds were a bit hard but we slept well. It is really value for money if you do not expect any luxury but basic and clean overnight stay!

Nice and quiet place to stay

Comfortable beds, clean room, bathrooms and common spaces, well equipped and clean kitchen. Nice host. Very pleasant place :)

Superb

Good price value. Location was fine for us, but not close to a town, located near a farm. Nice and quiet Large kitchen and dining area.

Room a little small but not a complaint, it had charm. Nice older farm house.

We made self check-in and it was quick. Room was good and also the kitchen was fully equipped. Place is also very quiet.

Heater in my room does not work. Hot water is not hot, so can not take shower. Not reply message.

Very nice house on the way to Húsavík ( 20 minutes drive). Easy check in, good big kitchen with the dining room,comfortable beds and good shower.

Lovely guesthouse

Lovely guesthouse in a convenient location for Husavik and Myvatn area. The kitchen was well equipped, plenty of bathrooms for all the guests. The owner has also allowed us to use her washing machine during our stay which was super useful.

Owners were very friendly and the location was quiet. Clean bathrooms and liked how there was a sink in the bedrooms.

Advertises breakfast, but was told there is no breakfast when I got to the property and asked.

Lovely guesthouse - would happily stay again

We had a last-minute change of plans and wanted to stay closer to Húsavík - this spot was a great find. Kitchen was well-equipped, spaces were clean, location was gorgeous, and the owners were lovely.

Nice place

Good communication with owner. Clean room and common spaces. Well equipped kitchen and spacious dinning room.

Rooms have very thin walls so you can hear everything, mainly when other guests are not very respectful in the morning.

- Nice guesthouse and great room! not too many rooms. - shared bathrooms and WC are totally sufficient for all guests. It was full during our stay but we never had problem with the bathroom and WC. - Super nice host : ) - Great location, easy to access Mývatn and Husavik - big kitchen! - reasonable price.

Great service with great hosts

Me and my wife had a great stay for one night. We had some BBQ dinner and used the grill outside. Breakfast was great. 100% recommended. Takk fyrir okkur!

Superb

The house is located in a very quiet area, in the North of Iceland, only 20min away from Húsavík by car. The room was tidy and clean, and the kitchen well equipped! There is also the possibility to do the laundry.

Poor

Our room was very very hot. We could not open the windows because there was some infestation of flies that would come inside (30+) when we did. So we were sweating all night. The walls are very thin; It was very loud, woke up around 1am both nights to other guests yelling and making noise. Didn’t sleep well. There is no breakfast included, but a kitchen. You can keep food in the communal fridge. We had some food in the fridge and when we went to eat it for dinner, it had either been taken or thrown out. So that was frustrating. Wouldn’t stay here again honestly, and wouldn’t recommend… not great value for money.
