The location and surrounding areas
Although the breakfast food was excellent quality it was on the small side with only one course on offer 😞 ncluded in the hotel rate. not so good if you have a big appetite. You can order extras but you have to pay extra for them. Would have liked to have had a cereal and croissant selection as well to add to the breakfast on offer which most hotels have included in the rate.
Very old steep wooden spiral staircase to bedrooms which may cause difficulty if you were an elderly person.

For older people especially …..Steps in bathroom, v windy staircase, places where you can hit head.
All the guests who had evening meal thought the main course was a starter! Then just a few chocolate truffles left on table. That was it!
No milk in bedroom for tea in morning.
