We have stayed at the lodge a couple times now and this time on ground floor which was much nicer.
We watched the eclipse from the golf course grounds as lovely and clear view.

Nice quiet location and comfortable room. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The blue light from the wifi hub was a bit annoying at night when you were trying to sleep. A couple more electrical sockets to charge phones and toothbrushes would be good too.

Soundproofing , a noisy group of young men chatting in the corridor, fortunately didn't happen at night

Large rooms
Rooms were dusty and worn, no internet so the smart TV working log on to Netflix etc, food only served until 8pm. No bottled water which would I would expect for any room of £100 per night
