Location being close to the city centre a short walk from New street station and Moor Street station. Warm room comfy beds and very quiet but situated in a vibrant locality. An excellent gym close by with sauna and steam room.
2 minutes walk to the gym itself meant considering changing clothes or braving the elements. Breakfast was not included in the price and expensive when travelling on a budget. The bar was closed when I went for a night cap at around 10

Close to conference centre. Lifts. Close to town centre and train stations.
Very long way from reception. Basic. Very small room.

My second stay here, but the room from double to single was a chasm in quality and room size. Breakfast in the morning was amazing, and the staff was very attentive in describing what is where. Convenient central location for business and restaurant needs on foot.
The single room was very small. Pillows were very hard and didn't know you had to order new ones with reception dependant on bounce. On-site car park was adequate, but getting an invoice from the hotel for this alone was impossible.
