We loved how centrally located this hostel was, it was easy to walk places and metro was easily accessible for moments we wanted to go farther outside of the central area. The staff were so helpful, they gave us ideas of places to eat, recommended a quieter clean beach, and remembered us each night asking how our day was. They had lots of activities available at the hostel that we didn’t take part in, but it was so great to know they wanted everyone to get to know each other and be immersed in their culture.

The hostel had comfortable bunk beds. It was great that the room had lockers that could be locked with the keys provided. The kitchen was accessible, and so were the refrigerators.
There are air conditioners in the rooms, but on some days even they didn't help. Unfortunately, I don't know if it was possible to adjust the room temperature.
Towels had to be rented, as they were not included in the cost of the stay. I couldn't find a hairdryer, so I had to let my hair air-dry. The music playing in the evening during dinner made it hard to relax.
In the showers, there were no shelves for dry or change-of-clothes items, which was inconvenient—especially if you have glasses, a phone, and extra clothes with you. Additionally, the common areas (kitchen, reception) were very stuffy and hot.
Be careful with food in the fridge; unfortunately, someone just took mine.
Please note that arriving with a large suitcase can be difficult, as getting up to the second floor is very tough. Also, the metro station is about a 10–15 minute walk from the hostel.

The hostel has the basic facilities you need for a short stay. The staff was friendly.
The hostel is in an old building and feels like a very basic, traditional hostel rather than a modern one.
The private double room is extremely overpriced at around €125 per person per night. For that price, you basically get a bunk bed, a separate bathroom, and you even have to make your own bed with the provided sheets. You can easily find hotels in Barcelona at a similar price that offer a private bathroom, a comfortable bed, daily housekeeping, and much better overall value.
