Beautiful hotel located in a quiet corner of Venice. Upon arrival, even though we were early, they took us to our room, upgraded us to Garden View Room and made us feel exceptionally welcome. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was slightly firm for our liking, but that wouldn’t impact our decision to stay again. Breakfast was great, they had made to order omelettes/eggs, and had a wide variety of options. This hotel has an agreement with a Murano Glass manufacturer in Murano, and organised a free transfer too and from the factory to observed glass blowing and view the museum, which we loved. It’s roughly a 20min walk from the train station, however, there’s about 10 sets of stairs/bridges to cross, so I’d recommend a water taxi if possible, but if you’re fit and able like we were, it’s not necessary. This place is roughly 30 mins walk from San Marco and other major attractions, however, don’t let that stop you, we loved getting “lost” walking the streets of Venice. It’s an absolute must-do, and we couldn’t recommend this place more.
You have to get buzzed in and out of the front door of the property all the time, which is fine, but we felt like we annoyed the staff coming and going throughout the day. But it’s an excellent security feature.

Everything was wonderful. The staff was incredible, extremely attentive and kind. They gave us the best restaurant recommendations. Our room was incredible, beautiful view of the canal and quite romantic. The hotel's private garden was beautiful and a great place to have a drink. We will stay here every time we return to Venice.

Breakfast was priced too high at 35 euros. If it was a bit cheaper I think more people would take it giving a better atmosphere to the place
One member of staff was particularly irksome . She insisted the steamer was working when it was not. I had to really insist and demonstrate that it was not and eventually it came back sorted .
The other time she insisted she had turned off the air conditioning in my room when she had not . Eventually she conceded she had made a mistake. This is the sort of thing you can do without on holiday
