The location was perfect - in previous visits to Majorca (and especially this area of Port Pollenca and the old town) we have always rented villas but now this time it was just for the two of us as we wanted some late summer sun etc and the choice here was perfect and the hotel was easy walking to the main area of the port but quieter as well, which meant car parking on the main strip street outside the hotel was mostly never difficult at all. The hotel is literally one road width away from a great and proper sandy beach with plenty of space with a warm and safe / gently shelving beach into the water.
Sun rise was amazing and from the point it came up as a full stop on the horizon
The hotel staff were excellent and the breakfasts were very good and varied for all tastes as was the evening meal restaurant.
The room has a kettle and a fridge
The room was quite basic but nothing we had not expected and the beds were very comfortable with the room cleaned every day with a working air con system which helped as the temp last week did get to @ 35 degrees every day.
Unless you are at the front, the views from the side rooms are less spectacular but as you face the front of the hotel we were on the right hand side floor two and we had a good view of the town and mountains but I would guess the other side would be less attractive when having a brew on the room balcony after coming up from the beach
Also the sea front provided an excellent running track along the sea front for all levels and distances
Only a few things to point out: and these are minor and don't detract from the score at all
ON the website there is mention that each room has a safe but this is a key operated on and for this you have to pay 20 euros with a 3 euro deposit that you get back - did not mind paying but it would be nice if we had been made aware for good transparency as they are essential for most travellers for peace of mind.
Also quite a number of holiday makers were quite obviously elderly and the lift can only accommodate 1 person at a time for risk of being over weight
But the stairs are good exercise but on the point of exercise a lot of travellers come to majorca for cycling and this would cramp the room if you had to store your bike - if they had a bone fide lockable storage area for bikes then this would be ideal hotel to stay

Breakfast was good but I would have enjoyed a better quality juice. I bought my own in the end.

The location was absolutely perfect.
Breakfast was very good. Cooked breakfast could have been a bit hotter.
Room was comfortable and cleaners were in very day, whatever time we left to go to beach !
Room a little noisy at times with our neighbours moving about, running showers and door shutting.
We didn’t like our view over a disgusting disused swimming pool!
