Very warm and beautiful hotel. Quiet, safe and comfortable. Reception are really warm-hearted and help us book the vehicle to Bukhara including visit of three Khwarazm qala. Breakfast is abundant and delicious, serving local special dishes.

The stay in this protected listed buding was unique, we even took the stairs up to the old minaret. The rooms were small yet simple and equipped with AC. Breakfast was of great variety with local produce, eggs, fruits and pastries. The hotel offers unlimited free cold water bottles to cope with the hot weather in the city which is a nice gesture.
The old madrasah is just a 5min walk to the west gate of the old city walls. Taxis can drop you off in front of the hotel so you dont have to drag heavy bags in pedestrian streets
Since this hotel is outside the old city walls a separate city access tickets is needed (worth 250K soms) and valid for 2 days. It wasnt an issue for us because we stayed only for 2 days but it may be something to consider if you are planning on staying longer
The bathrooms had a slight smell of humidity since they were only ventilated by a small fan.
