Quaint little hotel right in an amazing location in Khiva's Ichan Kala historical center. It's a 4-5 minute walk from the south gate (Tosh Darvaza) where taxis will need to drop you off, which was super convenient as we were traveling with heavy backpacks. One of very few minimarkets inside the walls is also just around the corner. Ichan Kala itself is a very compact area so you'll be steps away from all major sites if you stay here anyway :) The lady working the front desk was very sweet & spoke great English. The room itself is no frills but it was safe & comfortable, with modern bathrooms and reliable hot water & AC. The rooftop terrace has an amazing view!
Breakfast could be improved, though the soup was a nice touch :)

The family running the place is lovely: very helpful, arranged the airport pick-up and drop-off for us, and communicated with us throughout the stay. The location is great: within the Itchan Kala but on the quiet street. Breakfast has plenty of options. The rooftop is also a lovely addition.
The only issue to point out was that we booked a room with a double bed but when arrived we got the room with 3 single beds, and the double one was not available.

"We liked Khiva, we liked this small hotel, breakfast, friendly greeting. Some steps to town but still a very quiet location. A small shop near.
I recommend it. 🙂"
