We love to stay in accommodation that is a bit different and this lovely little apartment is just that. The location is very close to some great eating establishments and only a 20 minute walk to many of the attractions in Madrid. Comfy bed and a fully equipped kitchen.

It was all we needed and the location was first class. We had easy access to all the main attractions in Madrid and was surrounded by great bars and restaurants but once in the apartment you could have been in the middle of the countryside it was so quiet.
I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for great accommodation in Madrid.

Having spent the past 6 months in a variety of vrbo and airbnb rentals, this was probably our favorite place to stay.

Apartment and immunities were great. Very clean and well stocked. Only two issues : the shower and tenants upstairs. Could barely take a shower without the shower head falling on us. Very small shower so whenever you turned, you would hit the shower handle which would trigger the shower head to fall out. Tenants upstairs quiet on weekdays but loud on Saturday and Sunday morning starting at 7am. Between the voices, heavy, dragging of chairs...no way to sleep in!
Other than that- really happy with apartment and excellent location.

Sehr schönes Wohnen zu Entspannen
Die Zentrale Lage und die angenehme Wohnung waren genau die richtige Kombination für lange Stadtbesichtigungen und danach angenehmes Entspannen.
Beim Auswählen der Wohnung erschien allerdings ein button auf der Landkarte, der die Wohnung noch zentraler anzeigt. Das sollte man korrigieren.

This was a lovely modern, updated interior apartment on the ground floor, located on a pleasant city block that was quieter than the bustling plazas of the city center. A couple blocks away, a nice city park on a hill provides a view of the city and features a reconstructed Egyptian temple that’s free to enter. The apartment’s location is only a block or so from a metro stop, so you can get anywhere in central Madrid in 15–25 minutes of metro and walking time. There was fairly frequent resident noise heard in the apartment building, such as people cheering for a futból game and loud footsteps and children in the floor above, but it wasn’t bad later in the evening. The couch, table, chairs, and kitchen open area along with the separate bedroom made it feel spacious for two people. If you want to be near city hotspots but not right where it’s always bustling, this is a great spot.

Convenient and clean apartment
We enjoyed our stay in Madrid and found the apartment in Sol met our needs in terms of convenience, cleanliness and location to many of the city's sites. The Metro is available at Plaza de Espana, but we found that walking the city gave us a great opportunity to explore and meet the friendly people of Madrid. The apartment has all the essentials and is near grocery stores, cafes, parks and other interesting parts of the city. I would recommend the apartment for a single traveler, couple or small family. Eva was available and prompt in answering any before-arrival questions, and Esther was very helpful and available during our week in Madrid. We had a great time and hope to return soon!

Excellent property
My wife and I stayed here for almost 2 weeks and had a great experience. The apartment is very conveniently located in central Madrid near a lot of attractions and is a very quick walk to the metro. The neighborhood that it's in is also one of the nicest areas of Madrid.
As far as the apartment itself goes, it's a great find. Everything is clean and modern, there's plenty of space for 2 people, and the kitchen is very spacious and full of amenities that you don't normally find in an apartment in central Madrid. I especially appreciated the dishwasher, oven, and range with range hood. The outdoor patio is very cute and the perfect place to enjoy a meal in nice weather. The bedroom has a lot of closet space (very unusual for a smaller apartment) and a nice-sized bed (about the size of an American queen bed). The couch, dining table, and TV in the living room (which has a Netflix account) were all great touches. Wifi was fast and worked perfectly.
The owner is very attentive and met with me and my wife to help us get checked in, show us around the apartment, and answer all of our questions.
My only complaints about the apartment are a few minor inconveniences. The front door to the apartment building has a lock that is extremely difficult to open even with a lot of practice. The building should hire a locksmith and get that lock replaced. The washing machine works really well but is about as loud as a jet engine, so I recommend that you only run it when you're going out for the day so that you don't have to hear it. My only other complaint is the shower stall: it has a very finicky temperature knob, and the stall is very tiny and doesn't have any shelves. I found myself having to bend over constantly to reach the soap and shampoo on the ground, which was difficult to do because the stall is so narrow. Whenever I bent over, I would knock the temperature knob and wind up with a hot or cold shower, which was frustrating. One thing that the owner could do to make the shower better would be to install some shelves in the shower for soap or add a shower caddy so that guests don't have to bend over to reach these items and maybe do some fixes on the temperature settings so that the water temperature doesn't fluctuate so wildly when the knob is nudged.
Other than the few inconveniences that I list above, this apartment is a wonderful place that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Madrid.
