Breakfast hot and cold selections were good and well presented with good choices. Staff were friendly and accommodating overall for our overnight stay. They allowed us to drop off and looked after our luggage prior to and after check-in. Our room was very clean and comfy and had everything we needed. Some good renovations, decor and storage. The bar area was OK and a quiet small, front lounge. An unusual hotel with very long corridors and an obvious theme. Overall, a good stay and extremely convenient for us; 20 minute walk from the railway station with luggage.
Cutlery and plates seemed in short supply at breakfast but available when asked for - maybe some smaller plates for toast and extra spoons would have helped. We could clearly hear talking and movement in the room next to us (we were in Ruxpin). It didn't disturb us too much but was annoying and it might be a problem for some. Presumably they could also hear us. Public spaces were a little confusing and one could see into the kitchen, the office and read the check-in computer information as you passed by downstairs due to the quirky layout.

Breakfast was lovely and we also had dinner which was lovely
Sliding door to the en suite bathroom, quite a small room, and warm even with fan on

Nothing, just all good

The location is lovely and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was also tasty. There’s a great bar menu too with plenty of cocktails.
The room is very small for the price paid and incredibly stuffy which made it hard to sleep. There is no parking (which is clearly flagged in advance to their credit) but the parking in the town as an alternative was very chaotic, particularly during the day, which made it quite stressful. Luckily there are lots of options, but on one day we had to try 7 different car parks to get a space
