They don’t give u wash rags for showers & no HOT water only Lukewarm they force you with timeshares & you pay the whole balance during check -in & charges 2.00 for environmental fee ( air) everyday your there

Let me started with - this review is not sponsored and being written entirely honest from my trip in September 2023 that I paid for myself.
The property was very clean, welcoming, and private feeling compared to other resorts. Having the mix of beach and jungle theme was amazing! Private area for adults and separate areas for families was a nice touch to accommodate all types of guests. This resort offered entertainment in the evenings of live music, dancing, and outside vendors. As well as tennis courts, games, and areas to relax and take in the amazing landscaping everywhere.
The food was great! No complaints at all! For lunch Breeze Burger, Love Pizza, and Chechen y Chaká spots near the beach and the Natura Day Club restaurant by the adults only pool we’re all equally delicious! For dinner Arezzo - The Italian restaurant was top tier (staff was so so nice!) and the buffet restaurants Flavours and La Brasserie offered tons of varieties! As a whole, for the size of the resort there were so many options for food at most times which was nice. No place ever seemed overpacked!
The room itself - I stayed in Villa 19 near the adults only pool and the suite was amazing. Rooms were modern, spacious, and extremely clean! The staff actually went to the extent of hanging a birthday sign and balloons in my room before I arrived which was so kind! I was so pleased with the room that sometimes I even preferred relaxing there instead of going out which should say a lot! - don’t forget to tip your cleaning staff because they truly go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and taken care of.
To recap - Besides the minor check-in issue of being charged twice for my prepaid room (it was refunded) my stay was one of the bests I’ve had and I would 100% return. The staff was incredibly kind from the reception, servers, bar tenders, cleaning staff, and villa ambassadors! (Shout out to Alan from villa 19 making sure I had anything I needed)!
- The only issue I really encountered was upon check in the rep charged my card even though my booking was prepaid. The refund process wasn’t the smoothest, I had to follow up a few times and the refund itself took some time (over 10 days) to get back. But I will say, everyone was mostly kind through this process. But if you aren’t on top of your charges, it would have been hard to notice.
- The beach wasn’t necessarily beach front, but I don’t mind a short private walk with scenery of the jungle and wildlife! Actually preferred it so not a con at all but wished I knew prior to booking!
- Sometimes the restaurant schedules didn’t match what was advertised so there were a couple meals that I struggled finding a place open which was odd.

I came to surprise my mom for her 70th bday. My sister comes here often. So glad I didn't miss out on the festivities. The staff made everything and everyone comfortable! Very attentive, and Just a beautiful place. All the way around. I side and out!! Highly recommend and I'll be back!!!
I did a lot of walking which was great after all. The humidity was High!! I sweated without doing much. 💦

Que los restaurantes están cerrados por mucho tiempo solo el snack está abierto, hay costos extras como para el room service, área de mariscos y cafetería. No está muy padre eso y la ubicación quizás no es tan mala, pero estaría padre un coche que te lleve a la 5a, porque salir de ahí solo en Taxi y es costoso.

Increíble que no tengan servicios de salud dentro del hotel, por enfermarse y ser revisado cobran una tarifa de USD$200 y sin importar qué pase, no te atienden sin pagar, mi primo estaba intoxicado frente a la doctora y se negó a revisarlo. En nuestra estadía en Xcaret el personal médico es eficiente y va incluido en el paquete.

The beach and animals roaming resort.
Smelled like sewage throughout resort and showers. Showers had no pressure or hot water. food was not good at all, hotel was not accommodating, not a lot of options for food. And food buffet was not good. They ran out of towels for hotel room for days. Staff was rude. Rooms were over priced. Resort was not maintained and cleaned.

Terrible food, no flavor, limited options. Had been looking forward to the trip for quite some time just for the Mexican food and it was a complete disappointment. The limited Mexican food that was available was not authentic and very lacking in flavor which is very unusual for Mexican food.
Paid an extortionate amount for a private dinner and a sunset cruise for our wedding anniversary, both of which were booked for a month prior to our arrival for some unclear reason and when it was rescheduled it was not what we paid for. Was supposed to be a private dinner on the pier but instead it was on a dirty beach next to many couples with mediocre quality food.

Food was not great at all. Alcohol stopped serving super early. Drinks were watered down. Only 2 choices of beer. Beach was filled with seedweed

Overall resort is pretty good but a lot of technical issues with rooms so make sure to check it upon arrival (ac is working, doors and windows are closing, bathrooms are draining, electronics are functioning). Pools and beach are great!
Outside of the local food, the food quality is very hit or miss, heard a lot of people got sick, definitely avoid raw seafood. It is a shame because they have great location and ingredients but execution is poor! Just hire people to check the food before serving it! Also attitude from some of the staff in restaurant and front desk is questionable sometimes!

Everything. The food was horrible. It was too many “Karen’s “ On the resort. Had to smoke up front in the heat. Ridiculous. Worst resort ever been too. Water smells like sewage.

The kids club is amazing and very secure with plenty of activities. There was a team cleaning the beach on daily basis, there was a large number of swimming pools and some for adults only. The buffet was good with thematic nights (oriental, mexican, etc)

In the large pools were kids and also groups of adults totally drunk making fuss and swearing, bar tenders should stop giving alcohol to drunk groups. There was not enough chairs for everybody so there was nowhere to lie down if you arrived mid morning. No one helped out to find a place.
There was a buffet for lunch and one for dinner and the rest of the restaurants were paid and fully booked.

I liked how everything was super convenient. They kept everything really clean and all the staff was very nice.
I did not like how we weren't able to do certain restaurants on some nights because they were fully booked so some of them we were unable to try. On the last night of our stay they had problems with the plumbing in our building in the am so then it made all the water brown.

Luis at the Manglar bar was amazing. They have a taco stand next to the main buffet it was amazing when the three women were working. If you don’t see the women don’t go… people were friendly. alcohol was plenty! Foam party in the adult only pool was fun after getting some people up.
The beds were very uncomfortable. there were ants in my luggage that was not near the patio… The water had a bad odor and it was usually best to hurry up and shower then shower by the pool before you got in. More of a retirement spot. Visitors were very reluctant to participate and have a good time.

We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is HUGE. But there’s a pool almost every other corner. And the walk to the beach through the jungle is gorgeous, and we encountered monkeys and other animals on the way a lot. The beach is not as nice as those in Cancun hotel zone, as there are seaweed (but hotel staff would clean it up every morning). What makes this hotel stands out from others that we have stayed in the Cancun area is the food and activity! The food are all of very high quality and varieties, and we have no issue with reservations. And there’s activities every night during our stay - very high quality one too that I would have paid to watch elsewhere! Overall we had a great time and would love to return. Staff are all very helpful and very friendly.

the service was a little slow and it was hard to communicate with the staff as we don’t speak Spanish. our shower was terrible, the head didn’t work and it didn’t get hot. our rooftop in our penthouse suite was also not cleaned when our room was.

The food was good, especially the local cuisine. They regularly had taco stations and there was also a Mexican buffet with a mariachi band near the beach on our first night. There were often times dance and musical performance in the evening. Most of the staff were very friendly. The grounds were nice, especially the walkway through the jungle as well as the local animals.
Rolling power outages for most of the trip that lasted from 5 min to few hours (everything except the doors operate on the electric system, including the toilets). It is not all inclusive - the ice-cream place, smoothie and coffee shops charge you for purchases. We were regularly hassled to book with the spa, go on an excursion, or buy overpriced souvenirs from the souvenir stands.

The resort itself was beautiful and the room was the most beautiful I have ever had!
Everything else. The food really was terrible. We kept trying a different restaraunt in hopes for a better meal, but there was no flavor. I'm not a picky eater, but really detrimental to our stay.
The other horrible part was the jackhammering that was going on a daily basis. When we were checking in, we literally could not hear a word they were saying.
The swim up pool did not play music and we tried to play music with the approval from all the guests. Bar tender was happy with it as well. But some other staff came and wanted it off, which everyone was not happy about.
