Beautiful grounds, the staff are amazingly friendly this is our 4th visit and it’s why we come back. The tequila bar is really good for drinks just ask for the flower pot drink (see photo) delicious
Seaweed is an issue all over this this time of year but they do need to invest in some barriers to protect the beach as we have seen on other resorts. They do have staff out daily working hard to clear but prevention would be better

Love the small inclusiveness to where you could walk everywhere.
Communication was tough. We had an issue with our room on night two and it took over 24 hours to come to a resolution because the staff overturned so frequently we repeated the process 4 times trying to get hot water. And they did not honor the room credit offered by booking.com

The people who work there are exceptional. Our room was very nice and comfortable. The pools were great.
The app is very poor so not all the activities show up on it.
Because it is not the high season, restaurants are often closed--the Mexican restaurant in particular should be open more than 3 nights a week!
The seaweed--Not their fault but it is really out of control these days. Last year it was problematic but this year it was to a point where you were often greeted with the smell of the sargassum, which is not pleasant.

We really enjoyed our stay here with our family, and we were pleasantly surprised by the service and how nice the staff were in this hotel. The online reviews were not good, so we worried about staying here for a family wedding, but I have to say we didn’t have any issues with our rooms or the food while we were there. To be honest, I don’t think this hotel deserves the bad reviews I had previously read. This is a lower budget hotel than we are used to staying in, but the rooms were very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and it is a very relaxing hotel with many little beach front areas around palm trees to chill out in. We were upgraded to a swim-out room in the top VIP section of the hotel, which had its own pool, pool bar and restaurant, which we really enjoyed. This hotel had a great Mexican party night, with a huge buffet on the beach and Mexican show that all the family loved. They had great live bands playing in the beach bar at night and if you are into foam parties they had those too. We personally prefer to relax in quiet areas, but it was nice to have the choice to party or chill out. Overall this is a nice budget hotel, surrounded by plenty of beaches, cenotes and parks to visit and it is a good location in Riviera Maya, if you would like to venture outside of your hotel.
If it rains, it's hard to get back to your room, so sometimes you have to wait a while before the opportunity arises to return to your room.
