Welcoming and friendly staff, breakfast service, location and the dog!
Loved the age of the building and how some features remained, such as staircase, windows, beams etc.
Staff very accommodating too and helpful. That makes the visit majority of time and it did on this occasion. Would recommend!!
Some furnishings and facilities are a little dated and need care, e.g. no hot water from bathroom sink tap, could do with a repaint for freshness. But I'm sure the owners are aware of these. No biggie, still a comfortable stay.

Great location for ferry to Dublin, easy trip to Holyhead next day.
Staff very nice from check-in throughout our stay.
Lovely breakfast all served freshly cooked to your table.
Room had beams and sloping ceilings which weren't good for my 6'4" husband, ask for a room without if you are above 5'8".
